It won't be up there with the Cuban missile crisis, but yes, historical social movements/progress is documented by just this sort of event.

I waited maybe three minutes to get there and perhaps another forty-five seconds before the food arrived. Like I said, they were moving. And honestly, I think CFA's the best fast-food option available in this region. Beats the hell out of Burger King or Hardee's, certainly. It loses to Fuddrucker's and such, but that's a whole different ballgame.

One day of a whole ****ton of business won't offset a whole ****ton of people never eating there... assuming, of course, all the self-important PC folks protesting the place ever are there in the first place.

I'd happily eat there if I enjoyed the food, even if the owner came out and said "not only do I oppose gay marriage, I also fully endorse kicking puppies in the face and punching women who dare talk back me." See also: Domino's.

Under ordinary circumstances people don't go to Chik-Fil-A to express solidarity with the owner. They go there for a goddamn chicken sandwich. Ideology is irrelevant here.
