          I found out that Texas now has in door plumbing. Who knew?
          We also have air conditioning. You'll see many wonders you don't find in CA.

                  No call back from them today. I did send a thank you email on Tuesday just to remind them I was there and keep my resume on their minds. I'm trying to resist the urge to call them back but I know I should wait at least a week without hearing from them before I do that.

                        Well, even if they don't (which they still might) the good news is here is a three page list of geologist jobs in the US all of which pay at least $100,000 and some of which pay $200,000-$300,000. Plus I still have my current job even if it isn't all I hoped and dreamed it to be. My big weakness is most of them want petroleum experience while all of my experience is in the environmental field; sure, there is some over lap (especially in drilling) but there is also some very specialist skills there.
