I fell in love twice with women I met that I found incredibly attractive, women to whom I said incredibly corny stuff such as telling them they were the most beatiful women in the galaxy, or asking them if they were angels and not really human, super corny yeah

And I fell in love with a woman, whom I didn't find a super perfect 10 like the other 2, more like an 8, but we connected so well that I would think had she been born a male she would be my best friend. I could really live with her.

edit: I dated the 3 of them, and broke up with the 3 of them, one of them I dated twice with years of separation in between.

Sorry to hear that. I can't say I know how you feel, everyone is different, but I have had similar experiences and it is frustrating and gut wrenching. Saying it will pass and another will in all likelihood come along will not help how you feel, but it is true. For now, find some good friends to enjoy some nights out to forget about things.

I mean, I think most people have times when they need to repair their relationship. Often one person has to really go out there to try to make things work (and of course, both people need to put effort into trying to make things work).

Love and the pedestal-ization of a particular female are just myths infused into us to prevent our awareness of the biological fact that females are all the same and that we have no reason to be especially attached to any single one. You lose one (or can't have one), **** it. Move on to the next one. Not like there aren't 3 billion female human organisms on this planet.
