    Spoiler:
I really like both Sansa and Arya, and don't want to see one of them getting killed as result of Baelish's intrigues. Otoh the conflict between the sisters brings a new dynamic into it all. The conventional outcome would be that they get aware of Littlefinger's game soon enough to take him out, and reunite in peace and happiness.

The more shocking thing would be if one of the sisters would have to die before they get him. If they take that route it's hard to imagine that Arya would get killed with her abilities, but you never know...

    also:

    RIP Thoros
Agree about the Starkettes. (And I don't know if we need spoilers after the episode has been broadcast world-wide, just to stop a certain poster's enthusiasm for referring to future episodes, perhaps)

Arya's superpowers are too interesting to get snuffed out now, and it would be a shame for them to be used against her sister.

      • Spoiler:

Cersei turned out to be the traitorous ***** we all love. I was already surprised that she agreed to Fight alongside Daenerys so quickly.
But "fortunately" it was just another scheme.
And obviously Jaime now has left her service .. I wonder if, in season 8, he will join Daenerys/Jons troops

The lady of Winterfell and her executioner
Last timte that Baelish made a mistake ... by underestimating the strength of the family bonds between Neds children

And finally, Jon and Dany have shared their bed ... and soon Jon will discover that he is Aegon and that he and Daenerys uphold the great Targaryen tradition of relatives sleeping together.
All hail Aegon and Daenerys Targaryen, the royal couple

The Ice dragon destroying the wall
So, Daenerys was instrumental to the estruction of the lands southern of the wall by delivering the tool for the destruction of the wall to the white walkers

        • So all they needed to do was just ignore them and not go north of the wall and then they never would have gotten south of the wall. It is only when they got a zombie dragon that they could bring down the wall. Everyone should have said "well, we're not going up there and instead we will just ignore them" and everything would have been fine.

          • Incest makes the world go around (if Westeros is your world). There are way too many stories (especially if time travel is involved) where the effort to avoid/defeat a prophecy ends up bringing it about instead. Frankly, I can easily see everyone dying and Frosty taking over.

Harsh to blame it all on her. Jon Sner has to take some of the credit, surely. All to try and persuade Cersei who has refused to side with them anyway. Not a good outcome to the expedition, it has to be said.

              • Yeah, so like, I'm not really sure what the Night King's plan was if apparently it required an ice dragon?

                • Maybe he thought they had enough bodies to just stack up and walk over the Wall?

                  • Or maybe the WWs, just like the people inWesteros, have their own myths and prophecies.

And maybe one WW prophecy was that, at the beginning of the next winter there will appear a lady with dragons.
And those dragons will be turned into a mighty weapon for invading the lands of mankind.

And because of this prophecy the WWs prepared (just like south of the wall certain people, like Melisandre, let their behavior guide by prophecies)

I am still hoping that in the books at least it is Bran which causes the Wall's magic to fail just like he caused the magic that protects at the tree cave to fail.

                        • As much as I like the show and think it's still really, really great there has been a bit too much of the "unbelievable" and/or "deus ex machina" type of stuff recently.

It seems Bran is now always there to present evidence nobody else has. Arya is now always there to kill off someone either as herself, or as someone else.

Jon is surviving sure-death situations due to superhuman strength
                          Spoiler:
                          (drowning)
or because of other deus ex machina moments
                          Spoiler:
                          (Benjen)

Also nice in the earlier episode::

                          Spoiler:
When the dragon was killed, he crashed into the frozen lake/whatever water, broke through the ice. Now before, when Jon and his guys had escaped to that little formation of rocks in the middle all the icezombies had to wait outside until the broken ice/water had frozen again - which was long enough for Dany and her hypersonic dragons to appear in time.

However, when the icezombies later pulled the dragon out, they had attached large iron chains to him, but the water was frozen again. I guess they cracked the surface to put the chains on him, then waited half the night for the water to freeze again for dramatic effect )

                          • If the show continues to follow the initial concept of the story -porno magic War of the Roses- it ends with the surviving Lannister with arguably the best claim to the throne marrying the surviving Stark with arguably the best claim and founding a new dynasty. Game-Of-Shakespeare makes out the Starks as the bad guys in a bunch of plays, and Dany gets nothing.

-And in a couple generations. BTW, an ice zombie relative of the Starkisters takes the throne...
