Maybe we should call it 'Wikileeks'...?

This isn't a military leak."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."

This made me laugh:
US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has denounced the release of classified diplomatic cables as an "attack on the international community".
"This disclosure is not just an attack on America's foreign policy interests," she said.
"It is an attack on the international community: the alliances and partnerships, the conversations and negotiations that safeguard global security and advance economic prosperity.

No Hillary, you are making a fool of yourself. If anything, these Wikileaks documents show the international community (read: everybody on this planet) how things work in international dealings. That's a great gain. We see now better what alliances and partnerships really mean to the diplomats and politicians. We see now how global security and the advance of economic prosperity is limited to petty nationalist interests.
That exposure is not 'an attack on the international community' but an attack on the 'nationalists communities', of which the USofA is just one of every other.

Yes, all diplomats' communications should be treated as public record and be available to anyone. That will improve discourse and dialogue between nations when they can't speak freely and need to pander to the citizens of their own country. The next thing we need is to have the media interpret all of this for us.
The worst thing about this document leak is that everyone who reads a bit of them immediately thinks they are a foreign policy expert. :wiglaf:“As a lifelong member of the Columbia Business School community, I adhere to the principles of truth, integrity, and respect.
