Given the numbers, that seems to eliminate both Kate and Ilana, despite being touched.


I can't remember which candidate name we were looking at, but I remember seeing "Dogen" crossed out next to one of them. Interesting.

A couple of other thoughts:

This may be way out there, but perhaps "Shephard" refers to Christian, not Jack? (Or, an even more remote possibility, Claire?)

And "Kwon" references neither Jin nor Sun, but Ji Yeon?

Or maybe Jack and Kate get married on the Island and Kate is "Shephard"?

How awesome was this episode that we haven't even mentioned Helen(!) yet? Or how perceptive Sawyer is even when ****faced? Or Ben as a history teacher!? I was all ready to come on here after the episode to discuss these very things and then that cave blew my ****ing mind.

Next week's episode is Jack centric and written by Cuse and Lindelof. Should be even better than this week's episode.

Cuse and Lindelof are a plus, but no Jack episode has even been as good as this one, excepting Through The Looking Glass.

So apparently, in the alternative timeline, Locke ended up in the wheelchair in a very, very different way.

Five minutes into the episode, and I was already bleeding from my ears.

I guess it makes sense, as I couldn't figure out how Locke and Helen ended up together if Locke still had the father obsession that led to both their breakup and his broken spine.
