Shameful or not, that "Miracles" video is pretty ****ing funny.

So we're three and a half hours away from the end, any bets on who survives to the end?

I'm guessing that the following survive:

• Jack, because he's The One.
• Hurley, because he's going to be the next Richard.
• Kate, because if they were going to kill her, they'd have done it by now.
• Ben, because his death seems so appropriate that not killing him becomes a bigger mind ****.
• Lapidus and Desmond, because they're both made of too much awesome and win to ever be killed.

Of course, now that's I've written that out, one of them will die tonight.

Considering Lapidus is currently a moldering, bloated corpse, being scavenged by numerous deepwater crabs and whatnot, I'm giving that prediction a 100% guarantee.

You can't count on that. The man is an entity of pure 80s awesomeness. He can totally survive being on a sinking submarine.

I imagine that in the final episode Lapidus will rise out of the ocean and hurl the sub at Fake Locke.

Alternative Desmond "waking up" Alternative Ben by beating the ever-living **** out of him?

Funniest moment of the season.

I like Jack much more now than I used to. However, he is an awfully boring choice for Island Protector. Hugo would've been far more interesting, James more redemptive.


The dialogue at the campfire scene was a bit clunky, but otherwise, that was a very good episode. Ben killing Charles was a long time coming, and much appreciated. Not sure what game--if any--he's running on Nameless; he's more than capable of going along with killing everyone, I just don't know if that's something he wants to do anymore.


I'm intrigued as to why Alternative Desmond would be bringing Alternative Kate to a concert... David's piano recital, I have to assume. We'll finally be seeing Alternative Juliet there, I wager.


RIP Richard. Yet another character who kind of went out like a *****.



Sunday night, it's all over.

While I'm disappointed that the penultimate episode of Lost was mainly just setup and wheel-spinning, seeing Desmond and Hurley teamed up as omniscient masterminds in the Sideways World almost made the whole time-wasting Sideways structure worth it for me.

"Do I know you, tubby?"

Yeah, Hugo recognizing Ana Lucia, and then getting an original AL line in reply, was nice.


There was also an echo of the old "don't mistake coincidence for fate" line.


I'd watch an Alternative Desmond and Hugo save souls spin-off show. It'd go perfect with "Ford and Straume, LAPD" on Tuesday nights.
