On the other hand, if you rewatch that scene after watching last night episode...****, it makes it look pretty god damned awesome. On it's own, pretty ****, but juxtaposed to everything else, and the themes...wow, it doesn;t deserve the beating it is getting.

The episode was bad. I agree with Guy that it would have been slightly better if it had come earlier, but it would not have helped much. It brought more questions than it answered, and the answers it gave were boring.

Plus, why did black guy(seemingly the most moral one) became bad as smokey. The light source or electromagnetism was the important part and we pretty much no info regarding it, except that all men have some and want more and could destroy it. Why is the light/electromagnetism so important (don't think we will ever have this answer)

The lack of Bai Ling easily prevents it from being the worst episode of the series.

The first half of the episode (excepting the opening sequence) was easily as bad as the Bai Ling abortion, but the second half (once the kid actors were gone) was a solid B.

A lot of the first half didn't seem like Lost, it was very cheesy to me. Lost has never been cheesy to me beside the bad cgi here and there.

Apparently he never had one, which is somewhat disappointing. All the Freighter folk, with the exception of Faraday, seem to have been rather pointless to the series' overall narrative.

They were at least interesting characters, unlike Ana Lucia and Libby. (Eko ****ing ruled.)


Also, Lapidus gets a lifetime pass for: "Crash? What kind of pilot do you think I am? I set her down safe and sound right over there."

Not to mention: "We're not going to Guam, are we?" And, "This is the weirdest damn funeral I've ever seen." And, "Terrific."

Lapidus is the ****ing man. I'm still holding out hope that he miraculously survived the submarine sinking.
