Well, some people need the crutch given by the SW, others has the mental capacity to maintain such a list on their ownWith or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

I became partial to some of the more pricey Argentine stuff. Reccommended:
2004 Yacochuya Malbec, Michel Rolland, La Salta
2005 Val de Flores Malbec, Michel Rolland, Mendoza
2005 Cuvelier Los Andes Grand Malbec

I love red wine, particularly medium-to-full bodied. So basically Cab, Syrah/Shiraz and some blends.
For Cab, I like Liberty School a lot (Paso Robles, CA). I found that I tend to like most Cabs from Paso Robles.
Two blends I can remember off the top of my head:
Menage a Trois - Cab/Merlot/Zin.
Yalumba - Syrah/Viognier.
I just tried a Cab/something/Cab Franc blend I think was Aussie, and liked it well enough. I can't recall the name of it right now though.
As you will see if you look these up, I'm living in the $12-$20/bottle range here. The few times I've gone above that I've not found it worthwhile.

With respect to wine areas I've actually visited, I've only been out to Mission Hill. Unfortunately the wine is not for export. I went in 2005, and their Merlot I quite liked.
2007 Cabernet Merlot
New Release! A full-bodied wine with complex notes of dark cocoa and spice combine with rich plum and ripe cherries on a layered palate. This wine has a long finish and pairs well with a range of meat dishes such as lamb stew, roast duck, and grilled beef, as well as a variety of aged cheeses.Scouse Git (2) La Fayette Adam Smith Solomwi and Loinburger will not be forgotten.

I have tried both and it's the usual, you pay for what you get. The difference is that you actually get something. The 60 DKK could easily become a daily wine and the more expensive could be a showoff wine.
I have got a bottle of Aventino 2006 from same area, and I'm looking forward to taste it (it's somethiing between - 79 DKK).With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

Tried a third - Aventino, and it's certainly a thumbs down. Neither price nor quality matches. With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.
