    Seriously, the storyline is one of the biggest steaming piles of panda dung I've seen in ages!!!

      It will be a shame and a loss if they don't do a TV series based on the new Star Trek movie.
      They returned to the TV when their movie careers stalled...not right after 3 huge movies.

                              25 years and blasting George Kirk's ship for the Romulan mining vessel was almost no time at all to Spock's ship due to the minutes later going through the black hole, as stated in the movie. Pay attention. And if you think that science is dumb, then what are you doing watching Star Trek in the first place?

                                After all, Simon Pegg is already a movie star. He's not going to TV, and without Scotty, a series would suck. Quinto (Spock) as well is beginning to make the jump to movies (guessing that partially why the last season of "Heroes" ended as it did). Zaldana (Uhura) is a star in the making because of super-hotness. Karl Urban (Bones) is cast in 3 movies over the next 2 years. Pine (Kirk) is going to parlay his role in this movie into a career. Cho (Sulu) is in 2 more movies this year.
