I didn't say they were a wholly unreliable car, just that it's not that great. And this remains true, because I know a lot of people with Subarus and my brother's girlfriend's uncle also works for Subaru Canada (they drive Toyotas).
They're just not top notch cars. They're not THAT reliable, and in fact they are famous for having design flaws historically that lead to expensive reliability problems.
If I had as much time as you do, I'd search the archive 2 years ago for the thread where you spent dozens of posts railing against Consumer Reports' methodologies for the hilarity of it, but I'm watching hockey."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."

Consumer Reports IS more reliable but you need to figure out the difference between short and long-term reliability.
The other thing is you need to go back to my claim: they have "not so great" reliability. I still stand by that, because I've seen it first hand anecdotally and I also can see plenty of examples online from other sources like Edmunds which show suspect engine reliability in Subaru models.
So, Oerdin, despite your absolutely valiantly pathetic attempts here to nitpick on one thing in a thread where you've been consistently wrong, you need to understand that there is no absolute "EXCELLENT QUALITY" fact you can post to for Subaru.
I don't believe it to be EXCELLENT QUALITY, because I've been in many and I know people who own them and have seen statistics otherwise. Your standards may be lower, but that doesn't make me wrong."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."

You knob. It's called the Impreza Outback because the Outback is just what Subura calls a Wagon. BTW The Legacy is just a stretched Impreza (the suspension, engine, and most of the car is the same that's why they say it is the same "platform"). The AWD system does change depending on the engine and transmission combo you choose though.
