There is very important education process going on here, Sloww. It's about not making unsupported generalizations and freely admitting when you're wrong.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891
Humiliating Oerdin, who is always wrong but never admits as such, is very amusing.
"The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."
Ben Kenobi: "That means I'm doing something right. "
Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.
"Hating America is something best left to Mobius. He is an expert Yank hater.
He also hates Texans and Australians, he does diversify." ~ Braindead

But it's so easy
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

The 2008 one is no longer up on the CR website (only the 2009) but in 2008 the Subaru tied the Toyota RAV4. It uses the same 4 cylinder engine as every other Subaru does so if it is ranked highly in one it should rank highly in all since it is the same engine. CR makes pains to say that the reason the RAV4 wins is because its engine is more powerful but that both are great cars which are very closely matched. Subaru makes some very good cars.

1) this is not what you claimed
2) this is not a reliability survey

Yahoo Autos is your source for automotive news, research tools and conversation.
Face it these are good quality cars. I've quoted two sources J.D. Powers and Consumer Reports and you're the one claiming I can't admit being wrong? I'd say the problem is you not admitting you're wrong.
Do you think Toyota would do that if Subaru couldn't deliver on quality?
Oerdin, this is a recurring theme for you. Quality these days is not really a factor of the labour involved in the construction. It's in the engineering, the designs and the standards they adhere to.
The problem is with engineering and design, not factory quality.
