So, someone did delete my posts. And the Poly Admin didn't have the balls to tell me.
Honestly, I have loads of students who are utter dicks. But if a TA deleted one of their grades, looked up their phone number in the course roster and called in a death threat against them we would not only fire them, we would expel them and refer the matter to police.

I agree with Dave's feelings as to Asher's conduct, but that doesn't merit his actions.

what goes around comes around? Apart from this "incident" that i completely missed I've always found Dale a swell guy to get along with, but well it seems asher just got to him, which is a shame because that's exactly what asher wants.
I'm sure we've all got so pissed with someone we wished them dead, or threatend them etc - hot air is hot air. But yeah i'm sad that Dale 'lost it' and felt he had to do what he did.......asher is going to be unbearable over this for a very long time

It's rather par for the course for the internet (in general) though. Poly (at least the OT and some other specific forums) has been on a long spiral down from it's position as a community for reasonably friendly and intelligent debate (always have been exceptions of course), to just another forum for mudslinging, ego posturing, and general immature outbursts... of which there are already countless examples on the net.
Don't read this as a complaint from me, I don't mind and have even contributed some of my own **** to the forum repository. I still post here because I find what it has become amusing in it's own way. Dale obviously went too far... I'm just saying I don't find that type of response very surprising given the current atmosphere of the forum.
