There is on the ocean side a one meter poured concrete wall that iirc is the base for some of Zkrib's windows and which contains a second waver all its own. Iirc.

A tube with water is a far better level than any bubble level ever made particularly over distance or indeed better even than a laser level. We do have bubble levels but those are good for what they are good for.

Solomwi, we have an extra room and it costs about $10 a day per person, incl food, bottled water, maid service, unless you eat allot more than usual.

The obvious suddenly occurred to be last night. The $15,000 price estimate Tito gave me only includes the house. The cost of the seawall, the laundry room, and the circumference wall will probably about double this, to say, around $30,000. The realization came as kind of a shock--but it's not a problem really because $30,000 is just about where I guessed it would be in the beginning.

Folks, I'm a social liberal & I get along fine there. My only gripe is that they view a man in the kitchen with almost as much abhorance as a man in the ladies' room. Occasionally I can make it all the way to the sink with a dirty dish or glass, but usually I'm intercepted by one of the ladies. My goal in life is to sneak in and make my own peanut and better sandwich. "Bwahahaha, I'm a male, and I'm in the kitchen cooking!"
