I also talked down to the Indian guy at the liquor store tonight for not bothering to go vote today. There were no lines at polling stations here (largely because state law requires cities to pay for WAY more polling stations and machines then necessary just encase lots of people suddenly decide to vote) so I don't believe he couldn't find 15 minutes in a 12 hour period to go vote.

I have to laugh at BK for even suggesting that California would go for McCain given that the polls were something like +20 for Obama leading up to the election. In fact the only times in recent memory when California went Republican was when "local boys" (Reagan, Nixon) were running and although Arizona is close by they are not considered local. In fact we tend to look down on the "zonies" who come here dressed in Hawaiian print shirts.

Anyways, I never said CA would go for McCain. Perhaps you should quote my prediction, which didn't include McCain.
