That of course isn't true either.
"The DPRK is still in a state of war with the U.S. It's called a black out." - Che explaining why orbital nightime pictures of NK show few lights. Seriously.

Well, I won't argue with you there. I just didn't want to see Ben duck out of Aeson's *****-slap so easily.
      Unbelievable!

I didn't address what Che said. I addressed what BK said. And that was "< 4k casualties", in context of how many people died in Iraq as the result of our invasion. Che's number is completely irrelevant to whether or not BK was including Iraqis as "people".

Gotta love how when BK is confronted with this, instead of saying he considers Iraqis as people, he instead defends his < 4k number with a strawman. That's what Jesus would do, right?

He's universally hated by both Muslims and Liberals, so he must've done something right.

Dang. I didn't know the King was a Liberal.

Also, as far as the 'quagmire' complaint, some perspective,

Same thing could be said about hemorrhoids.

Just for the record... so you are saying hemorrhoids are a good thing?

It was your observation that if Liberals and Muslims hate something, there must be something good about it. I just pointed out that your reasoning is useless. I am glad you can admit it.

                          • He said that one million people died as a result of the decision to invade. Huge difference.
So the fact that the bad guys killed people means that Americans are to blame?

Any proof of that? I mean the Schlesinger 1948 poll ranking had him 19 out of 29 Presidents. Where is this every historian?

So my question is why should we trust the folks after 1960 to get it right? It's about time the pendulum started swinging back.
Well, the whole abolishing Jim Crow and becoming a less racist society and looking back and seeing how Johnson stood in the way of a Republican Congress trying to help out blacks probably did a lot of the damage. If you'll note the old "evil" Radical Republicans have undergone quite a shift in view as well, as people realized that they were trying everything under the sun to fully integrate blacks into society, having very progressive civil rights ideas stopped by the President who'd rather be respected by traitors (ie, Confederate high society) than help out blacks.
