There are a lot of people out there that don't think. And if Iraq turns out good because of what others do, Bush is still going to get credit for it. Come on, how may people still think that Iraq was involved in 9/11?

Time will cloud the issue considerable if it turns out good. As unlikely as that is.

You miss the point entirely rah. I said Bush screwed up, and someone else would have to fix it if it does indeed get fixed. I didn't say anything about how future generations will view it.

I don't give a rat's ass what future generations will think of Bush. It's entirely irrelevant to what I've said.

Not really. Bush may be remembered as a great president and since that's refers to the thread title, I'd say it relevant. Personally I don't think that's going to happen, but it could.

I certainly won't since it's a real thin book, but my point is, in the future there may be a totally different perspective due to how it turns out. We may laugh at our grandchildrens opinion when they talk fondly of the BUSH dynasty as president.

And this is relevant because to say he's the worst president now we're comparing him to our historical perspective of previous presidents. Where later events would completely cloud how people think of there actual deeds at the time.
