Im not arguing with u guys that is what u dont seem to understand. The fact of the matter is that if someone came in contact with u AND U FELT THREATNED YOU WOULD BOW UP ON THEM AND DO WHAT U HAD TO DO TO DEFEND URSELF. I dont care if the cop got suspended that is what happens when an investagtion happens they are put on admin leave or suspended with pay blah blah, My point is that u guys are acting like you wouldnt have acted the same way. I wish I had tapes like this more often when doing my job (Which is to investigate allegation of police misconduct if anyone did not know).
The biggest mistake this officer made was taking out the Tazer when he did, which escalated the entire situation needlessly. Yes, the driver was being slow in acting, but the officer had been there for all of about 30 seconds. Patience can be a virtue.
So now the officer opens the door, is just a few feet from this guy, and now he takes out the Tazer? WHY? The guy was being annoying, but being whinny and being verbally aggressive are two different things. Second, he is so close that any action taken by the driver might "be dangerous," but that is the officer's fault, not the drivers, for being so close. This guy rides alone, so you would think he would be more carefull to begin with. This guy substituted being carefull with being in your face because he knew he had the Tazer in his hand. That is not helpful, and is asking for trouble.
All that being said, I am not surprised by Donageals' attitude, nor by those posted by other cops, nor by Internal Affairs actions.If you don't like reality, change it! me

Another thing I just noticed, if you look at the whole tape, the motorist accuses the officer of hitting him with the car door, and if you pay close attention, just as the guy got out, the officer did move to close the door, hitting the guy. That to me helps explain why the guy did not move back as the officer is ordering, but of course the officer orders him back after hitting him with the door.If you don't like reality, change it! me
