SO none of you have ever seen a girl lying about rape just to get sympathy/revenge? I have. If a girl says to me she has been raped, I'll give her sympathy, but if there's any doubt of a lie or exaggaration in the air, it's over.

YEah you might have sympathy, but then again, who the hell does she think she is? A special case? I thought you wouldn't be the one to underestimate women. Yes, it's possible she wanted to share something with someone she trusts, but sometimes women are really bithy sympathy whores who will do anything to get you on a guilt trip. I think it's normal that her telling Wiglaf so early would rise suspicion.
