Hey, whatever gets you through the night, pal. If you need to believe that I'm a coward, you feel free to believe it.

Note tho, that I'm not backing down from you....not the mark of a coward, I'd not think.

And anyone with half a brain would have recognized post numero uno for what it was, and not turned it into a vomitous witch hunt, which you, and others have done your level best to do.

    Oops.

          KH,

          xen·o·phobe Audio pronunciation of "xenophobe" ( P ) Pronunciation Key (zn-fb, zn-)
          n.

A person unduly fearful or contemptuous of that which is foreign, especially of strangers or foreign peoples.
lol...i'm afraid i don't qualify. I'm particularly fond of foreign things, foreign places and foreign people. Yes yes, even mexicans. Which may have something to do with the 8 day trip i'm taking to mexico in May. Another example of someone throwing words around without either knowing what that mean, or having enough information to reasonably do so.

          Congrats

the most classic thing about this is that I x-posted with KH about not knowing what a word meant. I wish there was a finger-pointing smiley. it would go well with "Moron" in this particular instance.

You haven't even defined your position.

Who here stands by the criticisms leveled by the satire of the opening post?

Who here knows that they can't defend those positions logically against the countercriticisms brought up by myself and snoopy particularly, and so instead will continue to take the coward's way out?

While that is admirable suggestion I don't think it works to reanimate dead brain tissue.

                      • Well, nobody likes having it pointed out to them that they're a member of the PC Brigade (part of the secret to that movement's effectiveness is its formlessness, and of course, to call attention to an act as PC is against the rules of the game, itself being an anti-PC act, which is a big no-no).

                        See...it goes like this:

Someone posts a piece that was clearly written as comedic, and then, the first response is that it's "ignorant" (with the implied allusion that anyone who finds it funny enough to post must ALSO be ignorant). Now...in the PC universe, the name-calling is quite okay...in fact, it lends a certain sense of "brainy superiority" to the other side, and then, by virtue of their "cleverness" they can always backpedal later on and pretend righteous indignation when someone calls them on their bull$hit.

But to defend yourself against such attacks....you see, this, in the PC mindset, is only further proof of guilt, as KH has aptly demonstrated for us in this thread.

Take a bow, KH....you da man.

I haven't "spoken" at all in this thread.

Elocution is the manner and style of verbal public speech, including all the accompanying gestures, facial expressions, inflections and body language dependent on full audiovisual communication.

Writing is not elocution, because the elements which differentiate elocution from general speech are precisely those which are not conveyed by writing.

                          • once again --

                            a) the post was for the purpose of humor.
                            b) you haven't really made any specific criticisms against the OP.

I forgot: satire raises no serious issues, and is therefore immune from criticism.

My POSITION is that this piece was written as a comedic piece, not as some serious bit of social commentary, and by treating it as such, you and the others who are harping on it and doing your best to demonize Kaak for posting it are revealing not only your own ignorance, but also your own LACK of tolerance.

Unfortunately, you are so blinded by your own political correctness and righteous indignation that you can't see this, and refuse to acknowledge it.

THAT is my position, which I made pretty clear in my first post on this thread.

                                Comprende?
