Bingo! "i have no problem telling them" in other words, as a woman you do the choosing. the whole idea of the chase is to make the woman want to choose you when maybe she wouldn't have otherwise.

the 100% rule in man-woman relationships is that "women choose". any advice that ignores this fundamental truth is fatllly flawed.

Poor criterion, in that you generally don't see it initially. You need a pre-interested criterion.

      • she is a woman, I Am not

        I have never been chosen...

and a few times when I could have been (for the most part, I think the girls in these circumstances had nothign to go on, or were looking ofr a 1night only, or something similiar) I determined that they weren't really interested.

HEY! You can't leave your own drunk thread! You started this thing, the only moralllly correct way to end it is more drinking followed by iunconciousness!

Jon. unless you are brad pitt or some greek god, or you just happen to get lucky (it sounds like a cliche , but this is the stragy of 90% of the guys out there), waiting to be chosen is not very effective. fisrt off most women who are interested will tip uou off. eye contact, play with the hair, remeber your name, etc etfc. if this doesn't happen and you want HER, thats where it gets tactical and you have to game things in ypour favoer

                      • Maybe. That was part of what I meant, that expressing or discovering those traits at most parties isn't exactly what most party people want, and is not likely to make people interested in you. Depending on the type of party, at least.

But maybe that's just my general disdain for parties speaking.

                        • I wonder is it really that hard to find a partner. I have had no trouble in all my 36 years. Why is it so hard?

                          • generally in a party situation

if there is a girl I think is possibly intersting (and now, even if I see something unattractive, I will still proceed) then I express interest in her and her life...

this is also based upon the theory that most people like talking about themselves.. (hey, I do also)

(genearlly as I get drunker my plans don't work as well, I start talking more about my own life at a point(which isn't neccesarily a good idea, and the idea about talking about my own life at those points is to have some commoness..))

                            • Good in most circumstances, but it seems to me that most parties are escapist, and therefore it may not fit the situation as well.

The drunk thing probably doesn't help, either.

thats what "socitey" calls it. but really it's a recognition that people aren't that much different from those animals that perform a mating dance with showy feathers or "just so" dance steps. the fact is that women choose. and usually its not an intellectual choice nbut something stimulating. written out cold this sounds calculating and cod but thats how the worlsd REALLY works. women choose, and its base on emotion, not fact. as a guy, you can use this knowleged to your advatnge. if at the nd of the day you are a jerk, ta good woman will move on (quickly(, but if the guy is really nice and has a cool soul, then they both win, and whats wrong with that? especially if she wouldn't have notiuced him otherwise?
