pekka is his own worst enemy. a fear of rejection is one thing, but the illusion of confidence is worth alot too. generally when you stop caring about such things is when they happen. i'm not saying stop looking, but certainly be the one to make the first move, and appear confident. alot of girls like that sort of thing. timid and bashful aren't virtues.

i had similar problems. i'd withdraw, instead of making a move. i said damn the torpedoes, eventually. clearly my original approach wasn't working. now i'm getting married, because i showed a little confidence and stoop up for myself.
