    • Maybe for the first time in twenty years we will have an open debate on the subject of immigration. Maybe this taboo, imposed on us by the leftish parties (which I voted for nonetheless), will be lifted. Maybe the demonization of people who think differently about immigration will stop. Maybe the Dutch media will stop making propaganda and distorting the truth. If all of this happens, Pim Fortuyn may not have died in vain.
I'm pretty sure his death will not be in vain. It's hard to imagine nothing will change in Holland now. There is a large group of very unhappy people out there who will be very critical towards the established parties. As for the political parties, I'm not concerned that immigration will be an openly-debated issue. As for the media, I have no idea wether they will change.

      Was Fortuyn vocally anti-environmentalist?
      Nope.

        when was that?

true it was full of albanians and other people.

Now it is reformed though. (there are works being done there).

The times I've passed by it (the last week) the benches are mostly empty. (but there are druggies still).

          • The no. 2 on the Lijst Pim Fortuyn is a 27-year old businessman from Cape Verde (?). He's got no political background whatsoever....
We'd get a young, black, athlete and economist as our prime minister. How bizarre is that?

Can you imagine him being next to other world leaders after being introduced as Prime Minister of the Netherlands? It will be a riot!

[troll]And despite having a far smaller black population here, we'd still get a black PM/president before the US does [/troll]

KKE is the communist party. You must be refering to the Kurdish party (do they have the same initials??? hmm I forget)
Oh, yes they are still alive and kicking
When Ocalan was caught they burned themselves in front of the Greek parliement.

well I guess some people at the government still want to desperately prove that something is indeed working in the state machine

Hmm, I suppose they do. They are a funny blend indeed. communism (the old fashioned way) and nationalism all in one

                        • Here's a link to a column written by Fortuyns murderer. For those of you unfortunate enough not to speak Dutch , it gives me the impression of a very concerned animal activist. Still doesn't make things any clearer to me.

Would Pim, with his poor command of English, have chosen the correct translation of "kont"? -
