Bullsh!t. None Soviet republic declared independence in 1989. The SU remained as solid country until 1991. Where did you get this?

The dissolving of the Soviet Union was different form the release of the East Bloc countries. Soviet Union was 13? republics. (Russia, Ukraine, etc.) East Bloc was Bulgaria, etc. Seems like Serb is right on the SU thingie. But wrong on the plane quality. They have the issues that I already mentioned. I've discussed it with Aggressor Squadron pilots and trainers at Top Gun and with my F-14 roommate.

Now, onto the debate between the Su-47 (or whatever tyhe newest one is) and the 22. The 22 does exist, and is being built for full service in the USAF. AFAIK, the 47 is just a tech demonstrator that closely resembles the US X-80 in the 1980s.

F-22 is no less a tech demonstrator then Su-47. With only differnce that SU-47 have far superior desine. The wings you are failed to do.

Also, I noticest one brag in there about Russians being able to build a plane that uses "stainless steel." Good for them. It's not as if stainless steel is a relective matierial that will show up on radar, and get the attention of all defense networks in the next four countries.

The Mig-25 was build in 1966 and it is not manufactured anymore, since 1985. But it is still the fastest fighter in the world capable to flight at Speed -3000 km/h. None fighter in the world beats its speed record.
From 1966 to 1985 the conveyor is busy producing MiG-25 - an aircraft fully composed of steel and titan. It had no analogues in the world by then and the plant is proud to have been the only manufacturer of such a plane. MiG-25 was represented in 3 versions: attack aircraft, reconnaissance aircraft and 2-seater fighter-trainer.

As for your totally unrelated comment about coalitions, and the US needs one to make a move, I ask you - how close do you live to the ocean? Anywhere witin about 400 miles of a coastline, the US can hit you with a major Alpha strike. Anywhere else in the world, we can hit you with cruise missiles, or heavy bombers.

It is more then 1000 miles from place where I live to ocean. I'm glad that I've anger you enough if you ready to start WW3 because of me. Go ahead launch your heavy bombers, I'm waiting. Btw, our heavy bombers can easily reach any place in USA.

So, the next time you look in the sky, please remember who controls it.

As for plane qality, there is nothing wrong that you and your buddies think that Americans planes are better, on the other hand me and my buddies thinks otherwise. Do you really think that any of American or Russian pilots will ever confirm the superiority of planes of an opposite side? My problem is that I'm the only Russian here, but if you go to any Russian forum dedicated to aviation and say there that Cobra is the best plane of WW2 for example, or F-15 are much superior then Mig or Su, I can assure you, you will recieve the same attitude as I'm recieving here.
