US government donated 13 million USD into Yushenko's election fund. Fund of Soros (or its Saras ) gave another 7 million USD. It's only the official data anonced by Yushenko himself. In reality he recived much more. He is a west's whore and its a plain fact.
I'm not in aware that Russian government or any Russian individuals gave any money to Yanukovich.

For most Ukrainians, these elections were not about being pro- or anti-Russian. The elections were primarily about ousting a corrupt clique from power in Kiev. It just happened that the clique came from the Russian-speaking east of the country.

One the other hand, Yushenko was a prime minister of Ukraine in 1999-2001, the memebers of his gang were high-ranked officials of Ukraine and they absolutely f*cked the country, robbed it. They were counterparts of Yeltsin's team of the same period. The second figure of his party miss Timoshenko was searched out by police of several countries for corruption and shady deals, but unfortunately she became a deputy of Ukranian parliament, recieved immunity and thus escpaed responsibility for here crimes (she robbed both Russia and Ukraine for hundrends of millions USD).
Basicaly, Yushenko and his gang are just a band of corrupt motherf*ckers, thieves, who already robbed Ukraine once and want to do it again
