well let me elaborate then. Compared to some of those Dem Congressmen, most 1950s Republicans were raging lefties. In effect most of the congresses from 1948 to 1974 WERE dominated by Republican majorities, just that historic party loyalties in the South meant that this wasnt quite official. I pity the Americans. Stuck with that incompetent president for another four year, watching there economy go down the drain...(comparitively speaking, to what it could be).
My main source of nervousness is that if America gets hit by a nuke from terrorists, then Bush won't hold anything back in his zealousness.
