  • Who's using a crystal ball? F*cking up the country is what the Republicans do.

The cake is NOT a lie. It's so delicious and moist.

The Weighted Companion Cube is cheating on you, that slut.

And that's why people vote so overwhelmingly for them to replace Democrats in the House, the Senate and the White House.

      It all makes sense now.

Up until the mid 90's red was the color for the Democrats and Blue was the color for the Republicans. All the Democrats wore red ribbons on election day to show their allegience to their Party.

I have no idea why they switched colors.

It just shows how united America was behind Bush.

They aren't, really. It seems that voter turnout in New York and California was depressed. According to some conservative talking head I heard on NPR this morning, had they voted normally, Kerry would have matched Bush's popular vote. Stupid EC.

There was a civil war in Afganistan, funded and fomented by the US. Don't blame us for not doing well when you guys set the place on fire.

                        • I remember reading an earlier quote by Karl Rove that people only come out to vote because of hatred. (I don't have the exact quote, but it's always been part of his tactics anyway). It appears that is exactly what's happened. The majority have voted out of fear and hatred more then anything else. The votes for Terrorism were about fear and the ones about moral values were really about hatred. How else can you explain how someone of such incompetence who has nothing positive to contribute to the US be re-elected?

Anyway, everything that Bush has owned has been run into the ground. The US government is no exception. Will just have to wait and see how bad things get in 4 years.

"Mal nommer les choses, c'est accroître le malheur du monde" - Camus (thanks Davout)

"I thought you must be dead ..." he said simply. "So did I for a while," said Ford, "and then I decided I was a lemon for a couple of weeks. A kept myself amused all that time jumping in and out of a gin and tonic."

                            • I love how all the Kerry lovers like to wax poetic.

                              "Oh the tragedy!"

                              "Oh the horror!"

"I hate America, our guy lost!"

                              "Sniffle, sniffle..."

I won't have to see any Greek tragedies for awhile guys! Thanks!

how screwed up is that state?

call Mr. Fun. We want answers.

I live in one of the most sparcely populated states with hundreds of miles seperating polling stations. And we were done counting votes the first night.
