You can't get Section 8 or any other type of public housing here (and this has nothing to do with me!). You can only go to the shelter, and actually there is a two week waiting list for families. I have no idea where people go for that two weeks.

Kid ?? why won't you explain what being in "poverty" means? I don't necessarily mean the specifics of YOUR life, but I am wondering what qualifies as "impoverished" in America.
