I seriously doubt that the opposition wil be placated. They honestly believe the masses hate Chavez and agree with them- they are blind to the possibility that as much support as they have demonstrated, that they don't actually have the support of the masses of the poor for their program, which should not be news to them given the horrible track record of the opposition with regards to governing Venezuela.If you don't like reality, change it! me

I can't say that I'm surprised, but I am disappointed. We (the US) don't lose much of anything, but Venezuelans lose a lot.I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter.
