For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio

Back to the subject at hand, did the people who were (illegally) disenfranchised in 2000 get their voting rights back? You know, the people who merely shared a birthday with or whose name resembled that of a convict? The cake is NOT a lie. It's so delicious and moist.

The Lord God Putin is indeed powerful and mighty, but he cannot even compare to the glorious three:
The Lenin, The Stalin, and The Mao.

The Florida Democratic Party stripped something like 50,000 to 500,000 soldiers of the right to vote for the Bush/Gore election because they felt soldiers were more inclined to vote Republican.
#2, those votes were clearly illegal under Florida state laws. The reason they were illegal includes: dated after the election, opened, not signed by witnesses, envelopes not traceable to specific voters, etc.
#3, the Democrats dropped their challenge of these votes because they were afraid of being labeled as anti-military after Republicans began saying the Democrats were trying to deny the military of their vote (even though we don't know from where these ballots came).
Therefore
#4, the Republicans, through shaming the Democrats, were able to illegally stuff Florida's ballots ith 3,000 absentee ballots of questionable origin, includings many dated after the election.
These illegal ballots likely provided the margin of "victory" for Bush (among many other factors).
So, thanks for bringing up another way the Repugs broke the law in 2000 and are likely to do again in 2004.Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

Anyone read the latest Rolling Stone? There's a good article about how its becoming more and more difficult for college students to vote. A lot of it is illegal by state laws including New York and Texas, but somehow the conservative town councils are able to prevent them from voting.
Its amazing to what lengths Repugs will illegally go to make the election "Fair and Balanced"."I predict your ignore will rival Ben's" - Ecofarm

Florida may be irrelevant, given that the owner of Diebold Systems, one of the biggest electronic voting companies, has personally promised to deliver Ohio for Bush. Since no one but the company is allowed to see the software, there's no way to keep him from doing so.
