It, like the other "Striker warriors" is a hyped up POS
Today, you are the waves of the Pacific, pushing ever eastward. You are the sequoias rising from the Sierra Nevada, defiant and enduring.

Chivalrous means treating others with respect, having a sense of fair play, being considerate and courteous.

None of this applies to the SS.

The SS were cold-blooded killers. They were fanatics fighting for an obscene cause. There was nothing noble about what they did. There was nothing honourable or commendable.

Anyone who claims the SS were chivalrous, even sometimes chivalrous, either doesn't know the history of the SS or doesn't know the meaning of chivalry.

Yeah right. I said the website claims the SS were chivalrous. The website, as you have shown, claims the SS were "sometimes chivalrous". Same diff.

Don't be jealous because you don'thave a kick azz posse like me.

And those Klingons you roll with at the Star Trek convention don't count either.

Actually most of the troops in Iraq seem to like the Striker vehicle. It may not have the most muscle but for the job it's been deployed for, it does well. It's also been "toughened up" since its deployment.

I thought it was cool as hell how the other Cuban Colonel let Patrick Swayze go at the end when he was carrying his dying brother off. That was like one of the coolest movie scenes ever.

                      Tisk Tisk Tingkai,

Steriotypes are nasty things, becaues I bet you can speak for every memeber of the SS, especially the ones drafted or pressed in.

The point of your comment was obvious, to paint the site and the author as an apologist. You took a statement and hacked off the beginning and end to yeild the little tidbit that suited you. Nevermind that the coherent idea portrayed there was to characterize the organization as a whole in a particular light. I think it is rather enlightned that he can take the TRUE accounts of good things the SS did and not use them to sugarcoat the whole organization in any revisionist manor. He said that those few things paled in comparison to the horrendous things they did and are not to be used as any redeeming trait.

Nobody is evil to the bone, and even the greatest monsters of history have been known to spontaneously and unexpectedly suprise you with some act of kindness of corrageousness. Usually the act is exagerated because of the contrast to the status quo, and serves to highlite the atrocities of that status quo. The white spot is quickly soaked by the surrounding blood.

You blatantly lied, and you were caught. It is even better that you tried to backtrack.

                      "Same diff."

                      Keep telling yourself that.
"The DPRK is still in a state of war with the U.S. It's called a black out." - Che explaining why orbital nightime pictures of NK show few lights. Seriously.

When you can't argue the facts, you resort to insults, eh.

As for backtracking, there's your claim the SS website "only lists figures that have concrete evidence. Even then when this is ambiguous or questinable he adds "?" to point this our."

So we have ambiguous and questionable facts backed by solid evidence. Yeah, right.

You claim that the SS were "sometimes chivalrous". Okay, prove it. Show us the cases where the Waffen-SS displayed a sense of fair play, where they were considerate and courteous to others.

No granted this is only the SS, but the Army was several times the size of the SS and thus probobly had in its rankes a much larger number than the Waffen SS.
Oh really? So, do you mean much more non-Germans served in Werhmacht than in SS?
I see now, you are an expert.

I included the Western numbers because in the overall arguement of a Soviet/Allied war. Several hundred thousand western volunteers joined primarily to fight against the Bolsheviks, with an occupying power comitting attrocitites. US/UK could expect at least the same support or more.
Do you know how many people were in resistance? Millions. And in most of the cases they were lead by communists.
Tehre were commnits in the West, but like most things Serb says, their power is exagerated.
And you tell me about an exaggerations? YOU who said that Soviets killed 15 times more than nazi.

                              And the link....

                              WSSOB

An interesting sight. You may want to avoid it Serb, as it has this annoying knack for telling the truth and then supporting it.
Why should I avoid it? Perhaps it says about 500 000-1 000 000 Russians in German army?
                              NO.
It says about aprox. 50 000 and also says they never participated in any battles as I claimed. So why should I avoid it?
