Most put info like that in the menu and if they don't you just ask the waiter.

Confuse people? I have yet to find a label more confusing then your average old world wine. A new world wine will have the verital and region of origin right on the lable while your average European wine will only have the region of origin. Therefor you know exactly what you are buying with a new world wine but with an old world wine you are gambling. You really don't know what you are buying and you're just hoping you guess right.

Good thing I live in Italy... So I'm sure that the Wine I drink come from my region. My S. Daniele and Parma Ham come from Parma. My Parmesan cheese also comes from Parma. The Champagne I drink comes from France, while our Italian Spumante has correctly a different name than Champagne (for those of you who don't know.. Spumante is the Italian version of Champagne)

          And so on.

I'm just a little sorry for the rest of you who always have to check the label in every single detail to be sure you are eating or drinking the real thing.

While all I have to do is look for a DOC sign

If you don't like it, don't read it - be a good American and go have a **** to pictures of bill gates.

We wouldn't even mention it, but Oerdin keeps to bring it up. He must be a big fan.

For wines - as long as they get you drunk, they are OK

Actually, I shall use clever placement of dollar signs to express my distaste of Bill Gates and his company

                    Statistical anomaly.

Insults are always the last refuge of someone who has lost an agruement. Not to worry I will take your concesion with nobility.

You mean the "little hypocrite" as you called me was not an insult? But I will take your concession with nobility too.

On the contrary my friend. You were the first one to mention McDonalds. I take it you would now like to retract those statements?

That was simply the truth. If the truth was an insult I cannot help that.

I have no reason to do so, since you insist on your "quantity equals quality" stance. But what can I expect from a philistine barbarian. Not an insult, just the truth.

No, both Chinese and Korean restaurants sell Mongolian beef besides Mongolian restaurants. What we have here is a perfect example of how shallow and superfacial the EU claims really are. A perfect example of how wrong they are.
