And they are purposely and deliberately misleading, otherwise why would their producers be so inclined to use misleading names?

Perhaphes I am not as decerning as you are Davout, but, if that is the case then why worry? Anyone who is so decerning will be able to tell the inferior product. Or are you afraid it is not so inferior?

In either case EVERYTHING has a national origin label. If they want the Italian made version they simply have to look on the label. As I totld you before we are talking about styles of cooking food not where food comes from so no one is being decieved. When you order "Mogolian Beef" or "Southern Fried Chicken" do you honestly expect beef from Mongolia or Chicken from the American south? Of course not because we are talking about the way food is cooked and not where it is cooked.

The best thing I can say for the EU's trade office is that they are being money grubbing liars and hypocrates.
I really have no problem with this, it's the American way. My problems is that they are going about it the wrong way, and I thought European nations hated the capitalistic way...

Some time ago I tasted a wine from California labeled as "Jerez".
It was... how can I say "puta mierda" in English? I mean it was really bad.

I think this can damage the good name of real Jerez wines which are exquisite.

It's an insignificant eccentricity of the EU with a neglible effect on the world economy. Even the rants about the 'tide' of anti-semitism are better than such craven whining.

There are trash wines from every region. I don't think anyone would honestly dispute that California wines routinely win gold against the world's finest.

Yes, and McDonalds has a greater business volume than Kempinski. Your point is? Or are you really an adept of the principle, that quantity is the same as quality? By the way, we Euros should be thankful towards you Yanks. The more urine you swallow, the more beer remains for us.

My point is that you ***** and moan but in the end you eat thousands, no millions, of those little burgers each day you little hypocrite. The end is the bottom line where Euros spend tremendous amounts of money buying and consuming the very things you claim are crap. Ergo, they most not be crap because the market place has valued them higher then your vaunted food. Whine all you want but your own people have voted against you with their money.

Of course, you know well that this is not the beginning of a demonstration that the parma ham must not be protected, particularly from those who think that it is cooked in the restaurant ...

BTW, how do you check the label in a restaurant?

Errh...maybe, but good or bad you should call it for his name. It would confuse people.

Not a million, not thousands and not even one, you BAM. Mickey D's is a big no-no for me, it's not fast-food, it's fat-food.

Well then, since I am not French, I can give an unbiased opinion.

You yanks are in dream world if you think you can compare to the French when it comes to food. No ****ing way mate.

I can honestly say, I haven't eaten a MacCrap burger since I was a starving student. It must be all the fat yank tourists wolfing them down. (By the look of some of these guys, it must take millions of burgers just to feed one...)

Give me a French 3* Michelin any day.

And quite frankly, if this isn't patently obvious to you, then you have never eaten a decent meal in you entire pitiful existence.
