In 1912, Lenin dispaired that the revolution wouldn't happen in his lifetime. The Bolshevik faction was around 50 members. The economy in Russia was growing and standards of living increasing. Five years later he was the leader of the world's first workers state.
Personally, I don't believe that capitalism has finished its world historic mission of destroying all previous forms of social organization and increasing productivity to the point that everyone could live a comfortable life. I think the population leveling off around the middle of this century will create a severe crisis for capitalism, and after that it will be our time.Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...Comment
