  • Actually, I think we need to be less rigid about parity of trades at this point. The Morganites have nothing to lose at this point, and so I would expect them to contribute anything that wouldn't cost them (that is, technology and intelligence) as needed. The Angels know that they can't afford to be alone against the Spartans, and so need to ensure our survival. We must be willing to reciprocate to the Morganites as long as whatever we give them doesn't simply become Spartan property, and to the Angels as seems appropriate.

    • I can work that out in diplospeak easily enough.., I'll have them typed up, and ready by tomorrow my time to send out. So, that is eighteen hours or so at most to finish any changes. So, what exactly are you saying Chaos? You say the Morgans have nothing to lose, which makes it sound as if all we should pay them in is support, but then you say recipocate to them...

      • I think you hit the nail on the head CT. Now that we have exposed ourselves through allegiances, we have to stand together in the beginning. We can worry about treachery among the alliance once we have the Spartans down to a few cities.

He said, we can request that tech from Morgan for free.

But they will anyways request D:AP afterwards I think.

          • The Morganites have nothing to lose, but may become spiteful if we are too stingy with them. As long as whatever we give them wouldn't strengthen the Spartans significantly (and doesn't cost us much), we might as well give them what they need.

                • Dear Lord BinTravkin,

Please forward this message to other Gaian Union High Council Members.
We have included this turn pre-accepted Environmental Economics. We wish to
offer this technology to you, so you could switch to yet another very
important technology, Doctrine Air Pawer, and descover it in 2170.

You might have alredy receive such a message, but as far as I know, noone
from our faction has sent such message to you.
                  What is your answer?

                  Sincerely,
                  IT Mart

                    To Gaian Union,

We are glad you have succesfully received Environmental Economics technology and that you were able to acquire Doctrine Air Power at the same time. We would like to inform you, that we were able to acquire Doctrine Air Power also in 2169.

In this case, would it be possible for you transfer Neural Grafting technology to Data Angels as the exchange technology for Environmental Economics?

                    Best regards,

I see no reason to oppose their request.

                        • OK then, I'll send NG pre-accepted to the Angels this turn, 2171

EDIT: When I opened 2171, I found that the Angels already have Neural Grafting as well as all of our other techs!

                            They've infiltrated practically everyone..

                            • We've been infiltrated? As in "in-game", probe team strolled up to our door infiltrated? How come no one mentioned this? Is this not seen as a act of aggression in multi-player?

We have PACT with them, buddy, this means we were the 3rd faction to have NG, so they got it automatically, without us transferring it to them.

They've definitely infiltrated Uni, Yang and Lal and have PACT infiltration to Gaia.

They've most probably infiltrated Morgan during these Morgan-Spartan wars..

                                I doubt they've infiltrated Sparta.
