  • I have had problems too with downloading from Apolyton...the transfer doesn't complete! It gets to about 94% and then stops...thankfully civfanatics does also host everything that Apolyton has in the main -we may miss out some of the junk!

      • Version 1.17b now on top of the thread !!

Okay, Vonotar's version 1.17b is now on top of this thread.
It's also available on top of civfanatics thread since I've heard people got issues to download from Apolyton.

Sorry, if that has already been reported, I lack the time to read the whole thread. But in the area south of the Sahara desert something was wrong with the rivers. Some tiles next to rivers did not allow irrigation, and some cities adjacent to a river needed to build an Aqueduct. How can this happen, or is it intended?
This is a know problem with the game (not our fault!), perhaps it would be possible to make the rivers more accurate by editing the graphics for river's but I'm no artist.

OK, it's your bug, so I immediately issued a patch consisting of your newer version CTP, therefore I squished the bug...

Well, I actually took time from writing on my Swedish project to figure out what was wrong and fix it fast.

Rename the file to "attachement.zip" and you should be able to unzip it.

I've heard it comes from apolyton, several files have this issue. When you will click on it after renaming it, you will just have to double click on the file inside the zip, it will ask where you civilization folder is located and everything will be easy.

                        • GRRRRR !

                          I'm mad !

Ok, I would then advise you to download it from civfanatics... but since civfanatics' forum is experiencing some troubles... you can't connect to it !

Hmm... well anyway, check "downloads" then "maps" in that site, who knows, maybe one day it will work again.

I've tried and failed to find another Forum where we can post the files... so in the meanwhile you can download 1.17b from the location below.

HOWEVER! as soon as CivFanatic's is back online I WILL REMOVE IT, while I can cope with the bandwidth having everybody download from my webspace will make it look like nobody is downloading from these forums... and to a certain extent the popularity of a map/scenario is measured by the number of downloads.

                            CivFanatic's is back online
