He deserves at least 10,000 for forgetting it in this game.

    • Well, I'm new, so I don't know what will work best. I will be afk myself on Sunday, and would play my turns tomorrow.

Either way, no skin off my nose.

              • The cute little bunny has returned, having nibbled on the Big Apple (apropos for a Mac user!) with chianti classico as a chaser.

Pretty shocked that nothing happened in my absence.
Re yesterday -- Sorry, but I went from airport, to work, to dinner, to bed.
Since tonight's a Buffy night, I should be able to get down to business and get this thing moving again.

Looks like the consensus is that we go Demo ASAP. Fortunately, I have an oedo list...
Aye, 'twill be a different sin, should the rabbit be sentenced to the instiute...

No, sorry, no such software available. Much as I appreciate Ms. Gellar's, uh, body of work, her actual usefulness to me is more pragmatic in nature.

Since my wife and daughter are huge fans of Buffy (and the Gilmore Girls), I'm guaranteed that, except on Tuesdays of cruel and unusual homework, both my wife and daughter will be ensconced before the tube, affording me a minimum 2 solid hours of uninterrupted civness.

Most times, I get from dinner to bedtime. So Tuesdays are my prime Civ Night.

I think you should drop the 'of work' in that statement.

Unfortunately, it was a "massive homework" night, so my daughter was on the comp all night. All I had time for was a download and quick look around.

We have 13 cities across 2 continents, none of which yet has a temple (many in early stages of production). We do have HG. It's 320AD, so Demo can't happen until 380 soonest.

I think there's enough cash (194 IIRC) to get temples rushed in the 3 non-home-continent cities. There's one trireme at sea (with settler, so THAT will really help our happiness), another nearly built. Oddly, we do have one colosseum...

With most cities still size 3 or less, we're going to be virtually production-free when we make this change. Still unclear whether we can switch without falling back into revolt. Will have another look and get started tonight...

                              • Yeah lux will be high for a while, and some warrior disbands required, but overall given that monarchy is not an option we are just going to have to suffer in demo a little 'early'.......it beats suffering in despotism.
