I'm inviting her tomorrow (instead of today, like everybody ) to the "support diner" of my soccer team: how romantic it will be, to be surrounded by drinking (and drunk...) soccer players (one of them me, I must admit )...
Glad she just hates Valentine Day...
Of course, I might be missing the "very pleased" part...
Btw it is Valentine's day today so the chances of playing any civ today are remote unless I build the fantastic present wonder, which decreases the chance of senate interference completely.
I played these turns yesterday which was valentines day and then i played MP all night as well
Mrs Hydey is well trained
The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has its limits
Lol @ Hydey. You have had much more time for training, and no doubt you have things like wedding anniversaries to build up your brownie points. Being 24 Valentine's day is the biggest point is my brownie point building calendar.
My wife was a little bit disappointed when I told her I got bananas for valentine's day. But then when she saw it - a wonderful banana blossom and some ginger flowers - orange and red - she began immediately to say thank you on her special way ...

The sagacious Doctor is mercilessly murdered by a foul usurper famous throughout the land for his lack of skill at archery. Alas the upstart wanted the glory of ushering in democracy for himself. Fortunately history will remember the wise doctor as the the catalyst for change, despite his being shackled by the efforts of his barbarian forebears.

Yes, still Xinning. I think it was the fastest way to get to democracy.......in fact I was musing to myself that this may be the best setting to use the size 5, since usually monarchy comes too early for it to be useful.
Looks like I have all the luck!
DrSpike leads us to Invention. (Great job, Herr Doktor!)
Straybow will undertake the transition to Democracy (at which I've been shown to have my flaws. )
