Please do. I was on my way with a few boatloads of jagdpanzers to the US of A, and all of a sudden all my attacking power turned into slow moving defensive power. Not much use against a heavily fortified city.

(Unfortunately, my liberation of the place "razed" it, so I'll probably rebuild it or something.)
Who said those guys had no guts?
They never have achieved much in my games, although they did give the British a challenge in Syria for a while!

*Now the Tiger evolves into King Tiger.
*The Jagdpanzer will evolve to the improved Jagdtiger.
*The Hummel will become a Colian AA in the 1946 era.
*The Tiger/King Tiger has more firepower and 2 movement.
The evolution of units makes more sense now!

Right now it's February of '44, and I've all but wiped out the Third Reich on the European mainland. Only Pskov holds out - however, it's surrounded by Soviets, so they'll probably take over it.
However, I've managed to get as far as Smolensk, Dnepropetrovsk, and Kherson, I've taken over all the Romanian's land, and all that's left for me to get is Norway. I've landed some British infantry and some Sextons in the factories outside Oslo, so the final campaign is already underway!
And I've finally, finally, gotten all the army from North Africa shipped up to Europe! The Ghost of the Disco is ... your mastermind, your mastermind!

Did you find the enemy's resistance in any way fun/challenging?

One question though: Is the Hummel (mobile artillery) to Coelian (AA) conversion the right choice? I can imagine my army of hummels on the move to smash their way through enemy cities, and turning into anti-aircraft units.

I´ve played with the Italians until summer 1943. Nearly all of the Middle Eastern are under my control. I´m preparing for defending my beautiful country against the Allied Invasion.
Until now, the Germans made many attacks on Moscow and Leningrad, great parts of western Russia are under their control.

Good work, Curt, thanks! Jagdtiger seems promising. What unit turns into the Jagdpanther in summer '45, the Panzer III? That's a formidable tank as well, and one you sadly can't build.

Things should work better now, as I noticed some big bugs and wrong sounds, names, etc! All that is repaired!
About your question: The StuG III evolves into the Hetzer, and then the Jagdpanther...
Indeed a killer unit, and fully buildable! I always pack a few of them in any attack!
About the Colian: I figured that by 1946, the Hummels would be taking back seat to the storm-artillery types?
Well, the only other unit that could be replaced is the Panzer IV, which will be superceded by the Panthers
and Tigers at that point...I could make that unit the Colian upgrade - Would that be a better change?

All that oil will be handy for the economy...Any plans for the Caucasus fields too?
Baku and Maikop are close by...

Somehow I still start missing the change to winter settings message, somewhere in the game. I think it starts in december '43. I switch files anyway, and it seems to be working ok, but apparantly it mixes up units as well, since I can't build Jagdpanthers in my game, and I still have StugIII's, but no PanzerIII's. Some events go missing as well (no Italian invasion).
So in my game I switched to Hummel's after I've lost my jagdpanzers. But if Tiger's are more powerful, and Jagdpanthers and Jagdtigers are buildable, I guess the Hummel does take a backseat. But so does the panzerIV, so both of them could work. You just have to be aware that in your game you should not rely too heavily on either of them for attacking purposes at the start of summer 1945.
Have you got an image of the coelian yet? Very curious to see what you made of it. In Redfront there's a mobile AA unit as well, btw.
I'll wait for you to post the new files, do a clean install again, and then go back to a october '43 save, to see if december gives the 'change files' message.
