Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
I was half way through december '43, before I remembered that I had missed/didn't get the 'switch to winter' notice. Saved my game and made the switch anyway. But I noticed my aircraft had still the summerflight values. Then in the next few months, I repeatedly got the messages that the Russians finally surrender Stalingrad (plus the SS unit in New Brunswick), followed by the Churchill message about keeping on fighting (plus a load of tough paratroopers spawning in England). Those paratroopers sure made it a hard fight in England.
Switching back to summer settings for '44, all my stuka's had turned into Jabo's. And the Jagdpanzer and Panther go from 3 movement in summer '43 to 2 movement in '44?
And while I was leaning back after taking the last city in England, august '44 gave me the unpleasant surprise of a D-Day attack. Hadn't expected that, with England under my control.
So apparantly I still have some settings wrong, or wrong files...
The Stalingrad victory event should only run once.
It worked OK for me...And the Canadian SS unit is fixed. The event for the US paratroops in Britain will be remade,
so Churchill's announcement comes up once, and after that, there will be a generic event message.
PS
There is still a D-Day in 1944, the difference is that if you own the UK, the Allied attack happens in England.
Are the jagdpanzers meant to automatically 'upgrade' to Kingtigers, when switching to summer '45 settings? That's rather a big step down, in firepower. And in movement as well. Wouldn't a step from Tiger I to Tiger II be more logical?
