Um, I'm not really sure Harry . If you really want to go to town you can give every slot an individual sound, but that would be a bit time-consuming and make for a massive final zip. I'll have a think. I guess we could have a generic heavy tank, medium tank, light tank sound etc.

BTW, I still have those East Front II sounds to send you, but each one is 300 - 500kB. How big is your mailbox?

I was just messing really. There were only 2 units that ever used the Elefant and Ferdinand, so I picked one of them (sPzJgAbt. 653) for this shield. Geeky of me, I know

Love the Guards enamel badge for their shield
Good spot old boy! You know that makes you as geeky as me, don't you?

Cities/suburbs really look nice Curt! I dont think I've seen them all and whatnot, but what about a nice light blue & gold dome to an Orthodox Cathedral for the largest Capital type cities?
Curt's cities are superb, as is Catfish's terrain. I think Curt is working on using a Russian Orthodox church, Kremlin-stylie, as the centre-piece of the Russian cities. If I've got this wrong Curt, I'll have a go myself.

BTW, I've tried to PM you a couple of times Rob but it crashes every time. I'll get through eventually!

    • Gareth, they will have to invent a new award and make you its first recipient. Also, that screenshot has inspired me to take another crack at improving the title.gif I e-mailed you. I'll e-mail you this newer version by mid week.

Also, what can we expect as far as icons go? Will they be isometric icons or will you be going another way on this one? I may have asked this question already, I can't remember. Will you be using a new people.gif as well?

I promise to get them to you this week -
I have just been too involved in creating purple-faced freaky units lately!

I still have 75 MB left in it, so send those sounds along : willsbuATyahoo.com

Let me look at what I have so far and I'll post a list. I think we can do a bunch of different variations of sounds

            • Anyone working on the impxx.bmp files? Improvements.bmp? A skin?

(Hope I didn't miss an obvious recent post)

@Fairline: I can't believe you're so geeky to refer to individual OOB units in a civ scenario!

That sounds to me like you're signing up to do just that Dave. Welcome aboard (I hope)

                • Harry: There are some 40 MB of EFII sounds when zipped. I'll have to be selective about which ones I send; expect something this evening.

Hadn't thought too much about this one. I may use rips from other games....

If this is suitable I will move onto the Soviets next!

                            @Fairline:
For the top two rows (ancient and medieval) should I just make generic Swedish/Finnish type people?
