The Great Conclave looked at the reports of Gilgamesh's atttempt to dig himself out of the hole the releasing of his anti-Rome/Eygpt communication had caused.
As if the midst of the horrific events of the murder of Shushan the Conclave would have been re-editing old correspondance, and if they had somehow conjured up the time to do it, why wouldn't they have made it more condemning.
Caught with his trousers down, what else could Gilgamesh, a self-confessed "fascistic, lying, treacherous, conniving bully ", do other than blatently lie, relying upon the worlds irrational hatred of Hindustan. Would it work? Perhaps, the hatred of Hindustan goes deep. But truth and reality always wins in the end, and the truth about Sumaria is plain for all to see.
