I fear that I am forced to agree with much of that which Desert Lord has suggested. My Ambassador in Thebes will discuss these issues further but the implications are terrible - for everyone.

Sumeria is currently engaged in a minor dispute with Hindustan which has, unfortunately, led to a number of civilian fatalities. These things do sometimes occur when armies clash. The appearance of Russian forces in the southern seas as active allies of Hindustan could cause a 'domino effect' by inflaming an already tense situation hugely.

You must know that the Sumerian military could never defeat a Russo-Babylonian attack alone. Even mighty Egypt will fall before such a massive force and then who will be left? If Desert Lord is correct a Hindu world be inevitable, whatever everyone else does, as population alone guarantees success. Of course, this assumes that Desert Lord is entirely right. Perhaps an entirely different, just as fatal to the rest of the world, agenda is being followed? Perhaps Russia wishes more for temporal glory than to worship Vishnu? We shall see that which transpires.

Guys I appreciate the concern but I did say that Sumaria can play. All this grief about pauses was unnecessary, but I do appreciate the concern. Maybe Sumaria has just launched a massive invasion.

A few years ago Egypt gave a warning about a conspiracy , that the russian Emperor has lost his mind and decided to throw us all under mad religious dominance.
We can report that the conversion of Russian cities have continued and even now there are several hindu missionaries in russian territory-we can see them-. They have russain nationality but they did not born in russia, since they can not train them.
Our intelligence also reports that the massive russian fleet is on their way to Babylon while there airforce already took position. They are going there to ensure our imminent doom.

We had several propositions to solve this issue..and what was the answer...
Gondor is still trying to figure out how to word the invitations for a future conference which might be held sometime in the new millenia and would address the issue
Sumeria thinks that massacring a few thousand innocent civilians could solve the problem..
The most of the world has remained silent..
Egypt has changed to organized religion and spread this filthy religion to more cities.. but this madness must stop..

Babylon is a victim, the victim of their leadership which refuses to give up their plans..
They talk about free thoughts, harmless teachings.. but then why we have to vote about freedom.. why don't they research mass media already and end this once and for all?
What did they do to get the once proud russian emperor under their influence? How did they turn the world strongest nation against the free world?

And what is this free world going to do about it?

All must realize that there is not much time left those who choose not to act will be responsible for the darkness which awaits us.

We demand that Babylon switches to research mass media immediately!

We advise that everyone changes to organized religion and start spreading hinduism.

I also suggest that you reevaluate your relation with russia and don't let them ruin our world.

The Great Conclave shook its head at the continued international events where somehow it became unknowingly and unwittingly at the centre of some world conspiracy.

We have invited no Russian forces to our lands for defence or otherwise. We can defend ourselves as we have proved. We have never received help from any nation in our history (though when Sumaria launched its murderous attack, one nation, not Russia, did offer us some weaponry though it was never used). We have no knowledge of the whereabouts of any Russian fleet whatsoever.

If Egypt and its allies wants to fight Russia and its allies - fine so be it. You can all go to hell. But don't try to make this about us.

Mass media? Currently we are defending ourselves. Egypt you yourselfinvaded and did massive damage to our nation and carried off our troops. Do you wonder why we are concentrating currently on robotics to gain the use of mechanised infantry - particularly important to us since we have no oil. We will not divert from this for it is only these mechanised infantry which can secure our freedom.

We do not depend on anyone. We never have. We will build our mechanised infantry and defend ourselves.

And Desert Lord we welcome you conversion to Hinduism as your state religion. We hope this will not be just some sham, some tactic, and you will now demonstrate some hindu values and approaches in your ways.

And we welcome it because it again, if it were needed again, proves that there will never be a Hindu DV. There can't be. The votes don't add up, definitely now with your change. Never. Can't happen. So stop using our religion - now your religion - as a stick to beat us with.

Fight your wars. Measure the sizes of your manhoods and decide who is the king of the world if you wish. Just leave us in peace and stop turning us into an excuse for your wars.

Or is the truth that all of you - Russia, Egypt, Sumaria - want to fight and prove your manhood, but you are afraid you might lose. So you just pose and pontificate for ever and strut your stuff by attacking us, in words, in city destroying surprise attacks, in pathetic ways - because you can't actually find the courage to take on each other. Grow up - if you want to fight - fight - but leave us out of it.

Great conclave of Hinduistan,

Our patience is over..We tried to be reasonable with your people, we ignored many of your insults like the conspiracy attempts against us, one of them was even revealed by you: you tried to get Sumeria against us, even that letter you posted suggest it was a reply to your proposal.. and then the technologies stolen from us, but most importantly the recurring votes about our life and freedom.

The last drop was your conspiracy with Russia, we have all the evidence, no point denying it. We all know that Russia has voted for you and I can show intelligence reports about new hindu missionaries arriving to Russia even now.

Free people of the world: it is a fact: Hinduistan and Russia potentially has enough votes right now to end our freedom.

The "potentially" part means this: Russia just have to convert to hinduism and they double their votes. In golden age they can do it without anarchy, without we being aware of the danger.. maybe we have only a few turns left.

Since this turn Egypt has converted to this religion, we are willing to do this sacrifice, but it is not enough, people of the desert's population is low while Russia is huge.

As we said our patience is over, we are now at the brink of war, war which we want to avoid -now and forever, but for that our terms must be accepted:

Sumeria, Gondor, America and Rome immediately converts hinduism and later org. religion, producing enough missionaries to end the threat forever

version 2,
Hinduistan immediately converts to their chosen religion excluding Hinduism ofc, and in the same turn they adopt free religion. They are in golden age they can do it without any loss-But it is important that first they convert to an other religion then adopt free religion.
After robotics they must research mass media.
If this term is accepted Egypt offers her protection to Hinduistan.

version 1 fails if at least 3 of those nations refuse to convert (what I very much expect, most of them have never listened to us) by the next turn

version 2 fails if Hinduistan still in Hinduism and not in free religion in the following turn.

If everything fails only war remains.. and it won't be our fault, but the powerhungry religious leaders' of hinduistan, who denied their people having free religion and mass media. Note :what we demand from them actually will be their benefit: free religion will make their people happy, more productive, more free..

What is going on now? Are we play 1861 for a 3rd time? What has happened to PYT as it seems to functioning very oddly? I tried to login to the game to check who had played but was unable to download the game data so I have no idea where we are, how long is left on the clock and who has genuinely played! All I get from PYT is that another reload has been done - the rest is from DoE - but nothing useful.

I did play though about 10pm. Just as I was going to log out, I lost connection. So I have finished my turn, even if I haven't ended turn.

I have just tried to log in now to end turn, but like Sumaria says I can't.

The Great Conclave wept at the latest rant from the Desert Lord.

He had long been know as desertbrain because of his mindless self-destroying attack on Hinduism in the past. Mindless because there never was a threat of Hindu world dominance; self-destroying because Egypt sacrficed generations of soliders and progress in an unwinable war.

But now? They could only wonder what wicked evil his mother had inflicted on him in childhood to produce this insane neurosis.

If there was some world-wild conspiracy to produce Hindu rule, it could have been enacted anytime over the last two centuries. But of course it hadn't. The combination of events desertbrain thinks are just around the corner and will produce the end of the world, could have happened any time over the last two centuries, but they haven't - because they are impossible. Egypt's conversion to Hinduism is welcome, though it appears a mere device, but pointless. Its as meaningful as the guards of the great conclave's meeting room proclaiming that their sandwiches protect the conclave from attack by killer bees. The conclave has never been attacked by killer bees, so they must work? There can be no Hindu DV - the numbers do not stack up - and certainly not now with Egypt's conversion.

There is no need for war. Leave us in peace. Threatened on all sides, so yes we will continue to develop our mechanised infantry, and we will not abandon our religion - you desert brain may feign religions for political benefit but the Hindus have lived and died for their faith for millenia - we will not abandon our beliefs for any tyrant. Particlarly not a childish bully shouting in the playground, ignored by everyone else, but who just finds the weakest school boys to pick on to make up for his horrible feeling that in fact he is far weaker than the big boys.

We live in peace. We threaten nobody, except in your neurotic nightmares. If you wish to invade us and are prepared to create such ridiculous pretexts, so be it. We defended ourselves last time, we will do it again, and I doubt you will find your neighbours as disinterested as you do so.

But the bottom line is we are hindustan - we will not abondon our faith. We threaten nobody - after centuries of the same empty rhetoic the world is tied of your ranting about impossible votes. But anyone who invades us will pay a heavy price.

The server was completely lagging so I restarted it. I made save before I did so nothing is lost. Just login again to do your thing if you still have to.

I'm sorry Summeria, I saw you tried to login for many many minutes and wanted to wait, but you didn't progress at all. And my entire internet connection was lagging, not just the server. This happens once in a while, then the pitboss server suddenly consumes all my bandwidth. Everything is ok now again.

The pitboss things was b/c I mixed up PYT when I restarted DoD yesterday.
PYT is still troubling to handle for multiple piboss games on one server, but it's working! I should be more careful next time.
