  • Day by day the Oldonian forces became bolder and bolder. Even while suffering massive losses they kept coming after the Sozin’s forces who just kept retreating as planed by General Sozin. He know that if the Oldonians felt like thy were winning they would keep fighting regardless of the cost. With the main army soon on its way the time of the Oldonians resistance will soon come to an end.

To the north the raiding parties were going completely unchallenged. The main reason was because of the barbarians who where keeping the Oldonians too busy to stop the Japanese raiders from continuing to destroy roads and farms all over. On the waters the Oldonian navy was being devastated by the stronger Japanese fleet. Between the Zanza’s Wrath and the White Lotus the Oldonian’s stood no chance on the waters.

    • The fisherman didn't know what to answer. How could he as simple citizen, not even military talk to the leader of theese people ?

"Well..." he said, "I imagine i may accompany you. But you must know that i'm just a fisherman. I don't think your leader would be pleased if you bring me in front of him. However, i may get back to my boat and send you our messenger. He is in charge of the birds trained to bring messages to the homeland. I am sure that this is much more important than our search for seafood."

"Please wait here, i'll send him as fast as i can."

Not very confident, he swam back to the boat. Once he told what was happening, the messenger became completely euphoric :

"Finally i'm about to get an important job ! Sparta, i'm coming !"

A boat just small enough to carry the birdcages was pulled to the shore by the messenger. And he stood in front of the Spartan shortly after. He didn't realize the size and build of the warrior.... a little bit embarrassed, he introduced himself :

"Greetings, great warrior. I am Achmed, messenger of the Piercian Empire. I am ready to follow you to see your leader." He know this sounded a little bit too official for a simple marine-courrier, but he was proud of saying it this way.

"Can we go now ?" He smiled at the spartans and was delighted by his performance.

      • OOC: Imagine my surprise when I log in to check the story, and find that Percia has inadvertantly named a Funglish Character after my Sister.

After many weeks of questioning, Sally had picked up enough of the Percian language to be able to move around the palace without attracting attention. She was given a job as a personal chambermaid to the Empress, and was able to converse with Iris in secret on many occasions.

She still refused to talk about her ordeal on the boat journey, but had often talked at length of her life at home. She was the daughter of one of the Governers of London, although she had given up that life when she joined the Militia. She often told the story of how the Funglish came to settle the island they now called home, and of the people she had heard about living across the water; the Metalheads and the Holy Roman Empire. She even talked of a cult following some fellow called Christ although, like most Londoners, she was not a believer.

OOC: Sorry it's so short, I'm in a hurry, and don't have much time to think about it.

        • After the failed attempt to take the Leaf village Emperor Lee returned to Kyoto along with his sound ninja. Meanwhile back at the sand village they found the dead body of the 4th Kazekage along with his guards. From the look of the bodies they were there for a few weeks. It accrued to the sand ninja why their leader was acting so strange these past few weeks. They quickly sent an apology and an explanation on the part the sand village played and asked for forgiveness.

Back in Kyoto Emperor Lee’s healers could not find a way to undo the damage the 3rd Hokage did to Lee. The only thing know for sure was if he did not find a new host body he would die forever. Luckily he had found the perfect host boy. It was a young man from the Leaf village. Lee only had 4 days left to live so he sent out a group of sound ninja who served as his bodyguards. Only time would tell if the ninja would make it back in time or not but Lee wasn’t going to wait forever and made a backup plan just incase.

          • Michael Faraday worked from dawn till dusk in his small house in the village, just outside Athens.
He tried to mix all kinds of fluits and things he found in the woods and the hills that surrounded the city.

Sometimes he went for a walk, just only to search for special stuff. One day he was able to melt the copper found in the hills close to Corinthia in such a way that it became a very solid kind of material.

"That must be handy in some or another way!" Faraday thought.

He walked outside his small house, just in time to see the sun setting for the night.
He once again checked this new material.
"Faradon! That's how it will be named! Faradon, and I'm sure we can build weapons with it and tools and much much more!"

"Why not bring it to Sparta and show it to Lacedaemon!?"
Immediately Michael Faraday started to travel towards Sparta.
It was a long road, on his way he gathered all the special materials he could find. His bag became heavier and there wasn't enough place for food.

"If I can only make it to Sparta, then I'm sure that Lacedaemon may give me some food in return for the secret of Faradon!", Michael whispered with hope.

            Then he finally entered Sparta.
The city itself was not as big as Athens but the presense of the power of all Spartans was clearly around.

He walked through the small streets of Sparta towards the house of Lacedaemon.

He arrived at the house of Lacedaemon.
Two guards were in front of his doors.
"Please let me meet Lacedaemon, I have discovered something very special!" Michael Faraday said.

At the same moment a group entered the street from the other side. One man in this group was dressed in strange clothes.

The leader of the group said: "Please open the doors, we have a messenger from the Oldonian people. He has a message for Lacedaemon!"

At that very moment another group came in front of the house of Lacedaemon. Also this group had one very strangely dressed man in their mids. Though the clothes this man wore were of a totally different kinds then the other stranger's clothes.

"We have a Piercian man in our mids. He came from far away. He must meet with Lacedaemon right now!" the leader of the group said to the guards of Lacedaemon.

The guards looked at each other with a confused look in their eyes. What to do now?

"We are first" the greek leader of the group with the Oldonian said. "Our guest is of greater importance!" the other group leader countered.
"It's not up to you to tell which messenger is more important!"

Then the Oldonian man stepped towards the Piercian messenger and said: "........ (to be continued by the Oldonians and the Piercians)"

While the Oldonian and Piercian talked the doors opened. The guards nodded towards Faraday and said: "You were first, please go to Lacedaemon and tell him what's of such great importance that you insist on bothering him straight away!"

Michael entered the house. Lacedaemon looked through the windows to the strangers in front of his house.
"For all those years we thought that the world only contained the Spartans, the Koreans and the Mayans.

And now today two kinds of people show up in front of my door. What more does this world have to offer to us?
Are there more peoples? Are they friendly or aggressive?
Are there many wars in lands far away? Or can we learn from them? Should we guard ourselves or should we send more messengers?"

Then Lacedaemon turned towards Michael Faraday
"Mr Faraday, you came all the way from Athens, I was told, to show me something special!"

            "Yes my lord" Michael said.
Then he showed him the Faradon plate.
"That's a fine piece of bronze" Lacedaemon said. "But what's so special about it that you came all the way from Athens to show to me?"

            Michael was confused and shocked...
"You already know about bronze?" he asked
"Yes, groups of Phalanxs have already been equiped with bronze spears and shields! It was discovered years ago."

"Sir..... I don't know what to say........
I thought that I was the first to discover this solid thing...
I had named it Faradon. I hoped that I could give it to you to equip our soldiers and help our workers!"

"You came up with bronze without any help?" Lacedaemon asked.
"Stay here in Sparta, you will be of great value for me!" Lacedaemon said.
"I will build a workplace for you. Maybe your discovery of bronze was too late, but I am sure that wise men like you can help our civilization in finding new technologies."

Michael Faraday was relieved. For a moment he was sure that everything he had done was in vain. But apparantly Lacedaemon still appreciated his work! He could work here in the Spartan capital! Get a workplace for himself!

"Yes sire, I'd love it to work for you!" he whispered in disbelieve.

"Now I have to deal with these foreigners. Let's see which one of them can speak to me first" Lacedaemon concluded, while he walked to the door.

They sailed from coast to coast with the mission to Boldly go where no man has gone before. From father to son they have passed on this mission till now here i am with my family and crew on board.

Over the centuries we have met the Japanese who are very aggresive and we only managed to sail away from there in the nick of time.

Now we have discovered your mighty and great nation.

I have been empowered by the Oldonian leaders of old to offer the hand of friendship and trust to whomever we meet."

"I am not Lacedaemon" the Spartan man said to captain Kirk. I am sorry for acting like I was him. I must protect my leader and therefor act like I am him to find out if strangers have good or bad plans with Lacedaemon.

I will bring you to Lacedaemon now, it's just a few houses from here."

                • Kirk followed the Spartan thinking yes they are wise to protect their leader. As he was led to the true leader or Sparta he saw another stranger. Dressed very differently. He overheard his escort saying the man was a pierced one. Kirk had heard of their tribe from times long ago. He knew the Oldonians were eager to form closer friendly ties with them too.

Achmed was lead towards a great city, no comparison to the village of Asizia where he came from. There were many people, most of them dressed in simple but elegant tunics. He felt a little bit ashamed. After all he just passed weeks on a ship, and crossed a jungle. He was quite sure he smelled a little. But the warrior who escorted him did too, so he didn't bother too much. He still couldn't believe what he was about to do... he was about to become an ambassador of the Imperial family. He thought to himself repeatedly "Don't wake up Achmed, don't wake up!".

He was told to stop and wait in front of a house that had nothing of a palace. He was confused, but thought the men probably knew the city better than he does, so he took this moment of waiting for watching over his birds. All were perfectly healthy, as usual. "Great!"...

"What is great ?" the spartan warrior asked.
"Oh, did i actually say that ? I was thinking about the healthy condition of my birds. I am sorry." he felt very clumsy, and began to get a little nervous.

After a few minutes, a strange man with a piece of bronze came along. He went into the house, after recieving the order from one of the warriors. At the same time, two warriors came along with another man who didn't look like the other spartans. Achmed listened to the warriors conversation, and understood that the man was an Oldonian. He had never seen an Oldonian before.

The two messengers were told to discuss who would meet the leader of the Spartans first, so Achmed thought 'Achmed, this is your first task as an ambassador, don't mess it up !'.

"Greetings Oldonian, I am Achmed, Imperial Ambassador of Piercia", he noticed afterwards that the title he accorded to himself wasn't the same as the one he gave himself on the beach a few days before, "it is an honor to meet you. What are you doing around here ?" he suddenly noticed, that he didn't have much to say to this man, and felt incredibly stupid. He began to sweat a little.

"As far as i understood our hosts, we have to find an agreement in order to know which one of us will speak to their leader first. I have crossed the entire Sea of Spines and a jungle... i don't even know the name of that jungle ! If you can keep your meeting as short as possible, i have no problem with waiting a for a while. Once we are both done with speaking to the leader, we could even have a longer conversation."

He tried to look as serious and official as possible...

                    • Kirk looked at the man, he was obviously new to this. He felt compassion for him.

"Well I am Captain Kirk of the OSS Enterprise. Our mission: To explore strange new lands. To seek out new life and new civilizations. To boldly go where no man has gone before."

He had learnt his little speech from his father and his father had learnt from his father before him and so on.

"We are pleased to meet you Ambassader, we come in peace."

Kirk offerd his hand to the Pierced One.

"I have no need to go first to meet the Spartan leader, I have nothing to hide and would prefer to see him together with you, however if it is his or your desire to seek separate meetings we will gladly go last"

                      • Achmed was reliefed, at least he couldn't make a wrong decision with choosing who would go first.

"This is a good idea Captain. Let's talk to the Spartan leader together."

He shaked the hand of the Oldonian, not aware of the fact that this handshake was the first physical contact of the two civilisations.

                        • Kirk was pleased, his first meeting with other tribes was going well. He knew from days of old that the meeting with the Japanese had not gone so well.

this was his chance to prove worthy of the misison.

He turned to the Spartan escort.

"Can we see your leader together ?"

                          • Bae Hyeongyeong departed for Tikal with only two companions; Jumong who was a minor officer in Wang Geon's personal entourage and Hae Mosu, who was simply an expert in the Mayan dialect. The three men were to travel first to Wonsan and discuss a military alliance with the local warlord Daeso. Daeso and his villiage were stanch buddhists and supported the small buddhist villiage of Jogye (which was rumored to have been destroyed by Aztecs, these rumors were sadly true). The message that Bae Hyeongyeong bore was quite short and to the point;

TO: His Majesty Pacal II of the Maya
FROM: Supreme King Wang Geon of Goguryeo, master of the Koreans

                            Mighty Pacal;

We are pleased to inform you that our soldiers have been victorious over the Aztec scum in both onslaughts against Pyongyang and Seoul. There is, unfortunately, an army marching towards our friends of Wonsan, but we hope that they, much like the mighty Korean warriors, can dispatch these barbarians. I have sent a small contingent including ambassador Bae Hyeongyeong to your court in order to give any help possible in your efforts against the Aztecs. We also wish to show you a sign of goodwill, and once this scum is dealt with we hope you and your family can accompany our entourage back to Seoul for a celebration of the destruction of the Aztecs.

Thank you for your time and your wisdom.

-Wang Geon, Supreme King of Goguryeo and master of Korea-
                            Wonsan...

The three men rushed towards the house with pots filled with water "Throw it at the base!!!" Bae yelled, splashing water on the fire.

"Its no use!" Jumong said, tossing the entire contents of a pot over a half-burnt out house "The fires have been going for too long, where are all of the people?"

"The bodies you mean?" Hae Mosu asked, "Don't you know, the Aztecs are cannibals.

"They aren't technically cannibals you know, they aren't humans, they're demons." Jumong laughed.

"Shut up, both of you!!!" Bae yelled, he was seething with rage. If the Korean army was larger this could have been prevented. He threw his pot on the ground breaking it into shards "This is hopeless!"

"Ambassador Bae" Hae said "I apologize, we are simply masking our displeasure in jest, you are right, a horrible thing has occured here."

"Stop sucking up" Bae said, dropping to his knees, clutching his head between his hands "Damn it!!!!"

                            "...help..."

Bae quickly looked up "Did you guys hear that?" he said.

"I didn't hear anything, what are you-" Jumong began, Bae lifted his hand to interrupt him.

                            "...help me... help...me..."

"Its coming from over there, c'mon guys!" Bae said, running past another flaming hut "CAN YOU HEAR ME???"

                            "...yes, I can...I'm in here, I can't get to the door...there's fire..."

Bae kicked the door down, there was fire, everywhere. "Are you hurt?!?!" he yelled, it was a young monk.

"No, I'm burnt a little but I'll be fine, I can hardly breathe though!" the monk yelled.

"Just sit tight, I'll get some water and we'll get you out of here!"

                            Seoul...

Despite international success the past few years of Wang Geon's reign were plagued with disaster, most of which were the result of the Aztec onslaught. A possible ally in the town of Wonsan was lost to marauding Aztec armies, all work on the monastery had to be put on hold in order to hold off an attack on Seoul, and despite a successful defense in the city of Pyongyang many improvements and small villiages were destroyed by the Aztec armies. Plans for the consturction of roads, plans for exploration, for construction, and science had all been stymied by the Aztecs. Even a visit to Seoul by the family of Pacal II of Maya had to be postponed because of this. Not to mention one of his promising ambassadors; Hong Yu, had died in Greece, under suspicious circumstances (or at least Wang Geon thought so). With all of these terrible strokes of poor luck the next one occured and sent the King into a fit of rage; his wife, the Princess Sinjeong gave birth to a female, and not a male...

"This is ridiculous!" Wang Geon said, slamming his first on the table.

Gang Jo was surprised "My lord, there is still time for another child, this is a blessing."

"A blessing?" Wang Geon said "A blessing? Are you f*cking kidding me?!?!?!"

Gang Jo backed up a little "My lord, look on the bright side of things." Gang Jo said, he was strangely happy with the result.

"The bright side? What bright side?" Wang Geon asked, shaking his head.

"Well, politically this could help us. A royal marriage could be very beneficial to our empire, especially with such a young leader in Tikal at the moment." Gang Jo said, "Or, perhaps the Greeks could be courted."

                            Wang Geon smiled "Interesting..."

                                "Wake up scumbag" they called.

The governor rolled to his side looking for his weopon. But they had already retrieved that.

They grabbed him and threw him on the floor.

"You are charged with Treason for sucumbing to the Army chiefs and allowing this city to become a hell hole for recruitment of the army only."

                                "How do you plea?"

The goivernor just trembled on the floor.

                                "your silence proves your guilt"

                                "Take him to the elders."

The governor was dragged to the streets and to the Elders building. The Elders had been held captive in an enclave since the Army took over.

With the governor now caught the Elders were freed to deal him justice.

The elders had mercy on the governor and asked

"Will you uphold the laws of the Great One and restore this city to its former glory"

The governor meekly nodded he knew the armies time wa sover.

"So be it. proclaim through the land the City is now free. Long live The Great Raz !!"
