Shive, I'd love to tell you I'm thinking but unfortunately a language barrier between our nations prevents me from completely comprehending your message. Yes, we agreed on the shared gold, but I'm not quite sure how this pertains to Angor Wat. What do you see as a problem? Let us clear any questions and live together in peace.

We have found an agreement with the mighty peoples of Khmer, who speak a strange dialect, that we have trouble understanding, but thankfully we sent someone to learn their language and we get along fine. We simply propose that we have access to your fine country and when you can get the chance you can come and visit us and taste the fine foods that our Spainish chefs have to offer. We have the finest cuts of meat and the best seafood the world has to offer. As an added bonus to having an open border is that we can have a free trade that will benefit us greatly.

Regards, Captain Christopher Columbus of the S.S.S. Lonely Voyage and representative of the Royal Empress of the Spainish Empire, Isabella.

OOC. I might as well make use of the login logout system that i asked for.
Greetings Isabella. I hope that Mr. Columbus enjoyed feasting on the pincer shellbacks freshly harvested from the sea. I have sent a private message via a messenger which he reports was directly placed into your mailbox.

      • The newly formed settlement by the Celtic people was quickly overtaken by filthy warriors carrying a black banner. We do not know the leader of these people, but we declare war on them immediately. Do not think that you are safe as the armies of Celtia will hunt you down and rid the land of your being. If need be, Brennus will join forces with Roosevelt to extract revenge from your hides.

        • While making it's rounds the Zanza's Wrath came upon a group of warriors who they had never seen before. They had been told stories of a great and powerful race that lived south of Japanese controlled lands by the Oldonians. From the symbols on their shields they seemed to be the ones the Oldonians spoke of. The commander of the Zanza's Wrath sent a messenger bird to the Greek forces and it read:

Dear Greek forces we have noticed you are moving north. before you move any more please consider waiting for reenforcements. if you continue north you will run into 4 large groups of barbarians and more all around theses parts. If you value your lives we suggest you bring a larger force before continuing north.

Imperial Commander Azula of the IJF Zanza's Wrath

Her passion for the bow, and her rational behaviour allowed Siham to accomodate quickly in the Wyandot Nation. Once her first mission was completed, she went southwards, in order to be in range for sending a message attached to an arrow to the Prince.

              Greetings, my Prince,

As ordered i have established myself as an ambassador in Mound City. I am treated very well, and conversation with the wisest men here are fertile. I have relayed your purposal to the local leaders, and they will relay it to the Chief. Traders shall soon be able to travel freely between the Piercian Empire and the Wyandot Nation.

I have been told that i may meet Chief Tarhe himself for a celebration if your open-boarder purposal is officially accepted. Again, i'd like to thank you, my Prince. Living with theese people is the best thing that could ever happen to me.

              • Sparta

"Yes ? Wait again ? Great ! Thank you." Achmed really didn't know what went wrong, but since the Oldonian didn't look less surprised, he assumed that's the spartans way.

"Captain Kirk, why don't we have a walk on the marketplace while we wait ? If this is acceptable of course, mister spartan guard..."

Neither Kirk or the guards seemed to disagree, so he went on, and stopped immediatly. "Mister spartan guard, where is the marketplace ?" The guard told him to follow, and reminded him that "guard" would be enough when he adressed to him.

"Ah, look, there is a painter ! I need myself portrayed for the Empress !" Even if he wasn't very skilled in having diplomatic conversations, Achmed was an adorable old man, and quickly managed to make the painter laugh with some jokes the fishermen told him.

Finally, he sat down in front of the artisan and told the oldonian : "Captain Kirk, please, tell me about your people and your land while the good man here is doing his work."

                • Piercian Writing

The History of the Piercian Empire began to be more and more complex, and diplomatic relationships required a simple tool in order to relay various tasks to representatives. Knowledge needed to be stored, and communication needed to be easier. So the wisest men of the Empire elaborated a new writing system, specific to the Piercian Empire.

This allowed children to be taught many things without apprenticeship, so that the masters of any profession could spend more time with their own work, and new projects instead of teaching already known things to the young.

The method was quickly sent to Piercian emissarys and officers who served outside the borders of the Empire.

                  • Rome

The descendants of the exploration party that had established first contact with the romans have succeeded in their mission. A navigable road was mapped, following the coastline to the point where the river that crossed the city of Rome flew into the southern seas.

Along with the first traders, they now prepared for entering Rome, coming back to civilisation after almost two centuries spent mapping the wilderness between Asiza and the roman capital. They had kept one of the weapons of the barbarian warriors who had slaughtered the romans in the jungles of the southern peninsula, and prepared to make it a gift for the roman people. They could now see the huge city at the edge of the horizon, and couldn't wait to finally rest after that monumental mission.

                      Re: Border Agreements

The Metalheads are displeased with the Khmer for settling further north than we had last proposed. Though we recognize our lack of responses due to our extensive domestic duties have caused such a miscommunication. Therefore we will agree to not mercilessly sack your cities due to this infringement.

However if any Khmer settle further north along the desert peninsula there will be war. That land is exclusively reserved for Metalhead uses. We will settle there when we please and will not be rushed by you or anyone else.

We will be happy to provide the workboat when the time comes, but there are no immediate plans to build along those lakes. When it happens, the workboat will be happily supplied. We will happily provide information on the Church of Metal as well (Hinduism in your language).

                        • The great people of Barcelona sent out an urgent distress signal to any and all crack troops since they had a serious threat to their livelihood. They saw this warrior group that they have heard about from the stories of the annuals of General José Fernando Abascal y Sousa. They heard of the mighty defeat of the barbarous people that were terrorising our great capital of Madrid. So they knew they had to call him back for this latest threat, a much stronger threat than what they had faced before. They seemed to be a better fighting force than the other force they faced. Here is their story of another brave battle at the hands of these peoples.

Sergeant Rafael "We have received an urgent message from the city of Barcelona and it says they have seen a fighting force that could destroy the city."
General José Fernando Abascal y Sousa "Well since we are the only force around, it is up to us to again. Why is there no one esle able to fight for our mighty country the Spainish Empire?"
SR "Well I think we need to have a talk to our Empress about getting a better army."
General "Well then you can be the man to tell our lovely Empress. But first I need you to help us with this fight before you tell her."
SR "Men get on your chariots for tomorrow we ride on to victory."
The men were happy to have a fight again and they were hoping that the battle would be just as easy as the one before. They also had hoped to try out new tricks on their enemy to see if they have improved sine they battled. The men said their last good byes to their WAGS (wives and girlfriends) and then they went on a merry ride. The ride was a long journey but eventually the men saw their enemy.

General "Right men we can see our target. They are on a hill. Right now here is the plan.

Officials have deemed this information to sensitive, so it will not be shared with the rest of the nation, since we don't want word spreading of our tactics. This is a decree of the Spainish Empress, Isabella.

General "I hope that everyone is clear with their roles an now we can attack them.

The battle was much more dangerous than the one they had previously fought. The fighting lasted for most of the day, but eventually our mighty troops prevailed. Now it is time for our troops to have a break from fighting.

                          General "Rafael, come here."
                          SR "Yes sir?"
General "We need you to go to the Empress and get hert urgently get more troops for th safety of our great nations.
                          SR "Will do. Sir!"
With that he left their camp and went on a journey to met the Empress.

                            • Mayans!

                              Second Meeting of the Greeks

By the end of Pacal the First's reign it was apparent to the Maya that the world was much bigger then previously thought. Besides the Aztecs, Koreans, and Greeks, there were rumors that other nations lay north of the Greek lands.

Pacal the Second realized that meeting these civilizations would have to be a priority in order to facilitate trade, obtain a better understanding of the world, and develop an early assessment of potential future enemies.

Pacal sent an explorer party west, past the hostile Aztecs, through the Korean lands, and over the rugged and arid mountains that divided the Korean and Greek lands.

For many days and nights the explorers transversed the unforgiving terrain, until they came to the Greek boarder.

The Greek locals were alarmed to see such strange looking people carrying spears. These people did not resemble their neighbors the Koreans at all...although somehow looked familiar . Many farmers ran for safety.

Fortunately, a few Greek peasants were brave enough to approach the strangers. The leader of the explorer party dropped his spear, raised his hands to show that he meant no harm, and presented the peasants with a pre-written document. Then uttered the only Greek they were taught before leaving Tikal, which translated into "please take this to your leader".

                              • To: Glorious Leader of the Greek People
From: Chief Pacal II of the Mayans

                                Greetings!

It has been many moons since our people last made contact. Last time it was your explorers in Mayan lands.

We wish to establish an open boarder agreement with you. This will allow us to trade goods and increase the prosperity of both our civilizations. We hear that the Greek cities are almost as grand as our own, and we look forward to visiting them.

If completely open boarders causes nervousness in your house, perhaps we can agree to a non-unit open boarder policy. This would still allow for trade but keep units out. We hope you will not put restrictions on our movement however, as it seems your place in the world is somewhat of a crossroads.

The Mayan men you see now are our explorers. They wish to meet as many different civilizations as they can. Rumor has it that other people are north and west of your lands. Regardless of your thoughts on open boarders, I kindly ask that you escort our explorers toward the other known civilizations of this world. They have been instructed ahead of time that blindfolds may be used on them to achieve this end.

May the Greek and Mayan work together for the sake of civilization.

                                - Pacal II
