Empress Rin was shocked to find that the warriors were able to kill the axe men. On all that was left was the barbarian warriors that were right under the Oldonian city ready to attack. the Zanza guard were ordered to defend the hill and recover. hopefully the Oldonians could deal with this one barbarian unit.

It was a great day for Japan. Even against overwhelming odds the brave Zanza guard stood their ground and defeated not only the barbarian Axe men but also the barbarian warriors that attacked them. They were a powerful group and were the highest promoted unit in the Japanese empire. The only down side they had was that they were out of date. So Empress Rin ordered they stay were they are till the Zanza’s wrath finishes it’s mission. Once it was done the Zanza’s wrath was going to go pick them up and bring them to Japan were they were to be upgraded to and be place under the Zanza Elite Guard portion of the army. To be part of General Iroh’s army was a great honor but first they had to hold out till the Zanza’s wrath arrived.

The meesenger arrived in the Palace. The Prince listned to the news then went to his balcony to speak to the peoples.
My people great enws has arrived. If this is true, and we have not recieved prrof yet, but it appears the Japanese, yes that race that our forefathers fought so hard agaisnt, have shown bravery beyond sense and have battled the Black ones and they have overcome. Our scouts have found many Japanese bodies on the edge of the great forrest but more of the Black skinned people.
We will scout the south further to make sure it clear then bring some of our axemen north to fight here. Then we can head East to join the Wyandots in clearing Death Valley.
Maybe the Great One has forgiven us

When asked why she decided to risk the lives of her men to protect the Oldonians. Empress Rin replied, “ Because I know them. If the Oldonians were to fall who knows who would come and pick up the remains. As the old saying goes, it is better to deal with the devil you know then to have to deal with the devil you don’t know.” She was right after all. The Oldonians were not weak but were not stronger then Japan either. Though they lack the military training the Japanese have they still stand and fight. They do not surrender even in the face of annotation. They are with honor unlike those barbarians who have no honor. When asked if she would become friends with the Oldonians she replied, “No, we will never be friends as long as I continue to have control over Japan, but I will be friendly to them as long as they do nothing to anger me again.”

The Portuguese messenger
One day, a man stood in front of the Piercian borders. A military patrol noticed him, and went to see what he had come for. As soon as they were withing hearing range he yellled :
"Greetings, friends ! Let's open our borders one to another !"
The captain of the patrol didn't even know where this man came from. There was no prior contact to theese people, so he simply yelled back.
"Go away if you wish to keep your head on your shoulders !"
The incident was reported to the Empress, but She had not recieved any official message from theese people either. So She confirmed the guards reaction. No deals with strangers who do not introduce themselves, or even worse, behave as if they were old friends.

Another messenger arrived this time from the North.
"Sire the mines are cutoff. The Blacks have pilalged the roads we have no access to Copper any more. "
"Fear not young messenger " said the Prince. "I have ordered the 2nd and 3rd battalions to clear that valley and the Roger Wilco Labour Co. Pty Ltd has been paid double their usual fee to febuild the road."
Just as he finished speaking a messenger from the south arrived.
"Sire we have located the remians of the Japanese forces, they are weary and hungry, we have fed them and given them tents to camp in the hills. The Blacks are chasing fast after them but our troops are moving in on them. Forrest Hill province will soon be providing more fighters to portect the south. No word from the East though sire, our patrols canoont find the 7th and 11th Archer battalions. We will continue to seek their whereabouts"

Word from more messangers arrived at the dieing princes door.
Barbarians to the south had killed many Oldonian archers, they were located in the hills but still went down to a rush of Axemen, They did not die alone though, they managed to kill the whole Barbarian rush that had snuck up the Eastern side of the Great Mountains.
In Death Valley , 8 black warriors were being escorted by 3 black Axemen. The Warriors stood no chance agasint the Oldonian Axe Brigade, but a wounded group of Oldonians retreated to the mountains away from the black axe.
To the north the suriving members of the Axe brigades were promoted and sent to the forrest to rest after clearing the roadway for the workers to rebuild.
In the Oldonian provinces the people were unhappy but were arming themselves agsaisnt the blacks., Arrows were handed to every ctizen and a bow to go with it.
It was a dark hour but they were still surviivng.
To the south the final warrors were wiped out and the Oldonian guard moved East to surround the forces there.
More troops from Forrest hill were heading south to block the passage to oldonia central.
Blood flowed freely across the lands or Razolia.

Ancient Roman Philsophers
As Rome grew in prosperity, a class of men emerged whose business revolved around knowledge. Some archived and copied ancient texts in the great Roman library. Others used their knowledge to heal the sick and wrote down what they learned. And still others made it their lot in life to questione and improve traditional values and beliefs, this last group was known as the Sophists. They where men of learning who taught simple philosophy, the sum total of knowledge they had accumulated in their life.
It would be centuries before a complex system of thought would emerge. But these Romans where the first on Terra to move from Mythos to Logos.

-Bad news Lord Pitr...
What now? I'm so tired, so damnink tired...
-The Romans have settled on the river Volgoren's western bank.
Impossible, we had a border agreement. I made it 100% clear to them that river Volgoren was to property of Rus.
-Well, I've just come from the river Volgoren, riding my chariot, and there is a Roman city on its western bank. I talked to them and they said that according to their maps and treaties they were within their rights to settle their.
I see. Well, there is only one thing to do then. Take dictation message:
For centuries your people have expanded outwards like grass spreadink on empty field. We have discussed many matters and settled tension and difference by discussion and agreement. Always in these discussions, it is the Rus who has had to compromise. You have pushed and we have bent, for interest of peace and trade. But there come a time when a man, a people, a nation can no longer allow himself to be challenged and bereaved. Under such circumstance he must stand against his challenger, the red dawn at his back, and declare with a strong voice. GET OUT OF MY LANDS ROMAN!!!
If Roma will not adhereink to agreement, we shall enforce diplomacy by use of military might. Prepare for war.
-Please lettink it be known that this is nothink personal, this is purely business.
Sincerely yours, Pitr.

Tikal, Mayan Territory...
Bae Hyeongyeong and Hae Mosu sat and ate dinner at the stone table provided by their guests. They were treated quite well in the Mayan capital, but were anxious none-the-less. It had been weeks since they arrived and they neither received a response to their missive, nor had they even spoke with a single Mayan official. Jumong and Subo went to tour the city and take in its sights. In actuality Jumong was sent to make sure Subo didn't get himself in trouble.
"This Mayan food is quite, Uh," Bae said, gulping down a goblet of water "... different."
"Agreed, they use a lot of things from their jungle, very spicy food." Hae Mosu replied, he had a rudementary knowlege of Mayan culture.
"I'm a bit preturbed, we haven't much time and they have yet to REPLY TO OUR MESSAGE OR OUR PRIVATE MISSIVES, I hope we don't have cause for alarm." Bae said.
"Well, if one wants to be optimistic their leader is engaged with the Aztecs as we speak, and if they are perhaps the nobles don't want to make any decisions until he gets back" Hae Mosu said, shoving more Mayan fare into his face "And perhaps the nobles don't want to-" he said with a full mouth, he stopped and swallowed his food "Sorry, maybe the nobles are waiting to see if the young King survives in the first place."
"Who would do such a thing? And how is that being optimistic?" Bae asked.
"Well, for us it is. If you look at it pessimistically then maybe they are planning to kill us and are waiting for the right moment, which would explain their silence."
"That's not happening, that would be ridiculous, what possible advantage would they have to gain against four practically unarmed men that they would have to bide their time?" Bae said.
"Hey, you asked, I'm just answering you. They've probably got issues of their own to deal with and can't handle every single unannounced envoy that shows up and expects and audience, relax."
"I can't relax, not with Aztecs outside of Pyongyang and Seoul, we can't linger here."
"Well, look on the bright side; you might as well relax because by now those cities are destroyed or the Aztecs are dead. Either way you aren't needed... are you gonna eat that?"

The Korean Victory!!!
Gang Jo and Sinjeong, the Princess, had been travelling as quickly as possible to the safety of Pyongyang. This made perfect sense at first, the duo had no idea that Pyongyang was also being menaced by Aztec forces. This was no matter though; they had arrived precisely at the end of the struggle and Pyongyang had once again rebuffed the barbarian incursion. Since Shin Sung was in Seoul the leader of the defense was his lieutenant Han Gong had taken over duties, and was literally drunk with power...
Pyongyang...
"General Gang Jo" the visibly intoxicated Han Gong said, bowing mockingly at the General "A pleasure, you-you have come right on times great leader!"
"Please Lietenant Han, I must get this lady to safety."
"I see, you can USE my home, I hope it won't be long" the drunk Lietenant said, gazing at the Princess lustfully.
Gang Jo quickly grabbed him and pulled him to the side "That is Sinjeong, the wife of Wang Geon, the Princess you drunken idiot, how can you maintain yourself in this manner, you represent Pyongyang." he whispered.
"Get off of me!" Han exclaimed, throwing Gang Jo's arms from his shoulders "You don't touch me like that, I am the Generals here now you gets me!" he slurred.
"Be that as it may, I outrank you, and I demand quarter for the lady and her child, the Empress." Gang Jo demanded.
"Gang Jo, la-listen to me" he replied, his eyes wandering "You were not here, we just SAVED KOREA!" he exclaimed, throwing his arms in the air in celebration. "And there is no way, no telling what happen in the Seoul, so we don't know, and there is no Wang Geon here now, is there?"
"What are you saying Han Gong, you are drunk!!!" Gang Jo said, placing his hand on his weapon.
"Nah uh uh" Han Gong said, shaking his finger at Gang Jo "I don't know who this, this, this" Han Gong nearly stumbled over "This woman you bring here is, this whore of yours, I got no word from Wang Geon, or Shin Sung, or nobody else so why do I believe, why do I have to, should I believe you?"
"Gang Jo" the Princess said "He doesn't know what he's doing, look around, look at this place." there were bodies everywhere, limbs, puddles of blood, broken spears, burnt wood, burnt homes, and it smelled of urine "Let's just go to Wang Geon's palace, you have his insignia, you are a General, we don't have to deal with him."
"YOU QUIET LADY!" Han Gong said "Guards, seize these folks!"
The guards did not move.
"I SAID GUARDS TAKE THESE PRISONERS!" Han Gong said again.
"General" one of them said to Gang Jo "Shall we take him captive?"
Gang Jo looked at the poor sight of Han Gong, he was dressed nicely, but his hands were covered in dry blood, he had his leg bandaged up "No, don't, get him home, tell him to come to Wang Geon's palace in the morning. He's done well today, you all have, go tend to your families..."
Seoul...
The casualties were immense, on both sides. Even Wang Geon was hurt, taking a glancing blow to the arm and if not for his leather armor he may have lost it. "General Shin Sung" he began "Are they all dead?"
"Every last one of them sir, they tried to destroy our progress on the monastery, they did some damage though." Shin Sung replied.
"Okay" he said, checking the blood from his arm "Okay, this won't be the last of them I fear. We've got to hurry quickly, how many civilians were lost?"
"Hard to say my lord, a lot."
"We need that work force, we need to round up as many horses as possible, we must use speed to defeat them, if they return in greater numbers we will be finished otherwise." Wang Geon said, clutching his arm.
"Are you hurt sir?"
"No you idiot! I am fine, I just like to bleed like this!" Wang Geon barked, "Gather some men to round up those horses, and send a messenger to Pyongyang, tell them we have won the day..."

2yrs had passed and Empress Rin had gone through many changes. She was much stronger then ever before and was well respected and loved by almost all her people. With each passing day her greatest accomplishment was getting closer and closer to completion. It was now only less then a month away from being complete and she could not wait. Everything was in order except for one thing, the red-haired man was seen in Kyoto. She didn’t know what he wanted but she did know that there was none who could even come close to defeating him.
Three days later the red-haired man showed up at her front door. He looked at her and spoke, “My name is Kenshin Himura, and I have come a long way to find this place again. I see you have done a good job keeping my city powerful. Now I have not come here to take back this city. All I want is the new city you are planning to build to the north. I will name it and it will be under my control. If you do this I will let you live.” Empress Rin responded, “ Before I decide why do you want the new city?” Kenshin turned around and told her, “ I want a place were I can call home. A place that is truly free were I can bring back my clan’s honor.” She looked at him for a while then said, “ Fine the city will be yours under one condition. Went this country is at war you and your army must help. If you agree to this then the city is yours.” Kenshin looked into her eyes and said, “I agree. I will go to Kaguya and pick the settler group myself.” Empress Rin nodded her head and before she realized it Kenshin was gone.

The next 25 years passed quietly. No attaks were made from any direction. It was like the quiet before the storm.
The new prince ordered more troops to be recruited and sent north.
A new training headquarters was established in the south with one more to be built to complete the training program.
