Herring, Barbossa had the parrot, and the green apple, but was entirely innocent. He just loves both of them.

Clue, it was either Barbossa or Ragetti, but Ragetti was guilty, and Barbossa was innocent.

Herring, Barbossa was killing the pirates, while Norrington was innocent. Barbossa knew there was another killer and feared that the killer, or the other crews would discover him.

Again, another shakespeare quote for Ragetti.

As Will retreated to the Black Pearl, he had some thoughts as to how to bolster his crew. With the death of Davy Jones, his own father was no longer bound to serve aboard the Flying Dutchman, and neither was Barbossa, the former first mate of the Black Pearl.

Will then told Ragetti not to move from the boat or go anywhere until he returned. Reaching the Flying Dutchman, he was immediately challenged by Maccus to a duel to avenge the honour of his former Captain, whom he believed was killed by Will. Will then made a bargain with him, if he emerged victorious, he would spare Maccus' life in exchange for the service of Barbossa and Bootstrap Bill.

The duel was long and exhausting. Although Maccus had inferior swordplay, he was bolstered by the enchantments of the Flying Dutchman, and had superior stamina to Will. After close to an hour, Will finally gained an edge and stripped Maccus of his cutlass, pinning him to the ground to force him to beg mercy. With mercy conceded, both Barbossa and Bootstrap Bill were more then happy to join Will aboard the Black Pearl.

Meanwhile, the debate continued on board the Dauntless between Commodore Norrington and Cutler Beckett. Cutler, with only the two left on the Black Pearl doubted they would be a threat anymore to Port Royal, and therefore their mission was completed. Again, Norrington insisted that they had a duty to bring all the pirates to justice before leaving Mingapulco Island.

When Will returned to the wreckage of the Black Pearl, he could not find any trace of Ragetti. A search party turned up nothing except a broken discarded spyglass, and a green apple. That evening, he retired to find once again the ring of torches surrounding the body of Ragetti who had been keelhauled.

Herring, again Will was not responsible for the death, Ragetti was.

Herring, Cutler was trying to escape before someone killed him, since he was the killer. Norrington was the guy who wanted to keep having the pirates die.

Spyglass, again a clue towards the Royal navy.

The Green apple was Barbossa and another herring.

The keelhauling was the Royal navy as were the pitch lighted torches.

Maccus glared at him, and insisted that not only did you spirit away the remainder of my crew, you still have not bourne the responsibility for killing Davy Jones. He spoiled for a duel, but held back out of respect for Will. Although he wanted to best him and kill him at swordpoint, he refused to do so in an unworthy manner. He invited Will to return as they were now, to finish the debt, where one or the other would die.

Will shuddered and walked away from the blustering Maccus, promising to end this feud the very next day. Barbossa spoke with him, and suggested that they do no work tomorrow, simply sleep under the boat and rest. Because surely they ought to pay their respects to Bootstrap Bill.

So it was by considerable surprise that Barbossa nudged will awake the next day, when they found the body of Maccus keelhauled and bloated by the same torches alight in the dripping rain. Will thought, that as the only member remaining of the flying dutchman, it was a simple matter for any on the Dauntless to board his ship, subdue and capture him and then Keelhaul him.

The only question was who. Barbossa returned to the Dutchman with Will and they scoured the ship for clues as to the death of Maccus. All they found was a small pointy compass, and a strip of serge.

Again, Maccus keeping the vendetta alive.

Exactly the manner of the crew. I was hoping someone would finally vote for a member of the dauntless.

The compass, used for mapmaking, not the compass used for navigation. It was supposed to be a herring since Mercer was the mapmaker, but that didn't work out too well.

Strip of Serge, implicating one of the crew of the Dauntless. I was really hoping Commodore Norrington would get voted off!

I would have next to no chance to get most of those clues. But then again I've only seen the first movie.
