      • Wii Sighting!:

My local branch at High Street Kensington(london) of the high street game store "Game" had 5 Wii's in when i checked on the weekend. Not that that is much help to non uk residents.

I liked elebits, it was quite fun, though I didn't get to play it as much as I wanted to. Also, I didn't have a second wii-mote/nunchuk (which I do now), not sure how the multiplayer would work.

Definately a fun rental, but I can't see myself playing it over and over again.

Really enjoyed Trauma Center-rent, too short to purchase
Enjoyed somewhat Tony Hawk, just to see how the wiimote would work with it.

              • Is it true that the Wii is a non-zone locked console? So you can play any Wii game from any where in the world?

And if this is so does anyone know if it extends to the Game Cube games you can also play on the Wii?

                • AFAIK, Wii is zone locked.

There is possible to buy a chip that fixes this though, along with invalidating your guarantee.

                  • I had some friends over yesterday, and after getting tired of playing WiiSports, we picked up a copy of WarioWare. Haven't played enough for a conclusive review, but first impressions:

                    fun mini games so far
                    fair bit of humor
                    a bit bizarre

                    • Wario Ware is an excellent group game, though it helps to give people a few minutes to acclimate to the concept before tossing them right in

                            • Yes, but I'm growing tired of all the party mini-games coming out for the Wii. Give me Metroid!

                              • Well, I saw my nephew last weekend and he already wants to sell his Wii. Why? There are no games and he can't buy a second Wiimote. They're sold out everywhere.
