Asher: I haven't heard anything about that. Where are you hearing it?

It's a rumor that resurfaces every now and then. I think he was being sarcastic and trying to say that the rumor of Konami cancellations is so obviously wrong it doesn't really need an official word to confirm it's invalid.

I think such comments are less about praising Nintendo, and more about just jabbing at Sony.

The Capcom rumour has surfaced on a number of gaming sites."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."
Ben Kenobi: "That means I'm doing something right. "

It wouldn't shock me if it were true. MS has never been shy about shelling out loads of cash to try and increase their position in the market. And Capcom would help a lot in breaking into the Japanese market.
That said, I'm guessing it's probably not true.

You joke, but it really is a naughty thing for Microsoft to do. Sure, exclusives are bound to happen, but sheesh. They've got a great console, there shouldn't be a need to gobble up everything. But then again, this is Microsoft we're talking about - no one comes close to their level of finesse in that regard.

But, as expected, the control scheme is merely a gimmick. It doesn't change the gameplay at all, it just changes the control to a new alternative that people find fun for a bit.
That's been my argument all along, and it's 100% true from every game we've seen.

Of course, this is a game of minigames, so it really doesn't count, right?

Well, I haven't played Wario Ware, but from what I've seen in a video of the game, I think a huge mistake they repeated after Rayman is that the minigames are largely single-player. Rayman is really fun to play with friends, and it would have been doubly so if you could play the same game at the same time, without having to alternate (a few minigames in Rayman do it, but not nearly enough). It's much more fun to try and beat a person at the same time, than watch then and try to match their score later. And from I've seen of gameplay videos of Wario Ware, I did not see a single multiplayer minigame.
