Incidentally, I was looking around Amazon, to see if they had stock numbers up somewhere and stumbled upon this. Apparently, the top 3 best-sellers in the "Computer & Video Games" category are:

1. WoW
2. Xbox 360 Wireless Controller
3. Wii

Some dude made a script to automatically check every 4 seconds, and still couldn't get one.

The script checked Amazon.com for something that looked like a price every 4 seconds. When the beeping started Tara hit refresh in her browser and nothing was there, most likely due to a caching issue. By the time I got my browser up and pointed to the Wii we were on the third beep (12 seconds). Sure enough it indicated it was for sale but when I clicked Add to Cart I got a message informing me that Amazon had sold out. I conclude that they sold out in WAY less than 20 seconds. My guess it that it was closer to 12-16 seconds but I can’t prove that.

I just beat Zelda!

Looks like I missed out on most of the golden bugs, so I never got the wallet that will hold 1,000 rupees (mine only held 600).

Also missed a lot of the games at Lake Hyrule, which give you different rewards, including heart pieces and lures. Didn't go snowboarding either.

Only took me around 40 hours to beat, which is why a lot of the extra stuff didn't get done - I wasn't thinking it would be over so soon!

40 hours seems very short - i'm sure i put many more hours into previous zelda titles? If you left out the extra stuff do yu think you'd want to go back and replay it - to complete those things?

In these days of wham bam thank you mam games 40 hours is an eternity. The original Zelda was made in a different age.

Who takes 40 hours to complete an early Zelda game? They're not that long.

There are not enough Wii available in Sweden, they sell out the same day new deliveries come in. They could probably double the price and still sell all of them.

The two lengthy sidequests, golden bugs and poes' souls are quite disappointing, neither reward is that great. The mini games are alright, but they're a "play until get reward, never again" for me. Those are my biggest issues with the game.

The Ocarina of Time and later titles might have taken close to 40 hours (don't know, didn't play 'em) but no NES/SNES game ever took this long, unless you wasted a lot of time trying to figure out things.

Yeah, the only thing I wish I'd gotten was the third suit, but I wish it had been part of some dungeon - I really would've liked a black suit for the Twilight realm (which should have been longer, along with Hyrule Castle).
